Excellent product. From an angle there is a glare on it, but it is very clear and you can easily see the beauty of the wood through it. It is definitely thick enough to protect from most bangs and bumps and also from a fair amount of heat. I've set pretty hot mugs on it and it left no damage or clouding. I try to avoid putting things on it right out of the oven, but do put hot things on the runner on top of it with no damage to the plastic or table. It came a little long and I found that the way it curled around the end of the table actually gripped the table and keeps it from getting knocked around by my kids so much. I am very happy with this purchase and I finally can show my pretty table without fear of ruining it. It does wipe off easily, but I think that would be a given. It has not stained from any spills.

The Hewaba Home PVC Table protector fit my new wood table perfectly. It's very thick, so it took a few days and some heavy books on each corner to get it to lie perfectly flat. My table is 36 x 60 inches, and the protector of the same size overhangs about 1/8 of an inch all around, which I consider a perfect fit. It stays put and looks great. Everyone who's seen it, compliments it and asks where I got it. It's much more durable and attractive than the tablecloths I used to buy. Overall, it's a great table protector, and I highly recommend it.

It was all wrinklrd and wouldn't lay flat on the table initially. We had to use steam to get it to flatten. It is also slightly bigger so hangs over the edge a little. It also slides around so thats a lil irritating. If I clean it with a lysol wipe it leaves behind water spots so I have to go behind with a paper towel to prevent that. That's a lil annoying but it protects the top of my brand new table so it does the job.

I purchased this for a completely different reason and it worked out great! I needed to replace the doggy door flaps on 2 dog houses we have to help keep out the cold. This item was perfect! It is super clear, super thick but still flexible. I was able to cut flaps out of the material with poultry scissors and staple the flaps over the entrance to the dog houses. Saved me some money and looks great!

Purchased the product to be used as a desk pad.I needed to put a laptop on the desk so that I could work from home. This table cover does exactly what I needed it to do. It is thick and soft, appears it expands a little when in a warm/hot weather seasons. Provides a little bit of cushion and protects the desktop surface beneath it. I am happy with the purchase.

So I bought a Hewaba 1.5 mm thick originally and I put that on the bottom of my beautiful dining table ,and I put a tablecloth on top. I didn't stop there, so I ordered the Hewaba 2mm to put over my tablecloth. And now my dining room table is complete. Easy to clean, doesn't move around, and looks awsome!

I love how I'm reviewing a 16x16 table protector yet the product I ordered which specifically states on my order that I ordered a 42x72 table protector. I even panicked and checked my order because I thought wow that was really cheap. My order said that I definitely ordered a 42x72. So I relaxed. However, what showed up? A freaking 16x16 that barely covered even a tiny portion of my table. I'm trying to keep my kids from destroying my table during quarantine. Thanks for the help and waste of money. I wasn't wasting my time returning it. However, I'm very cautious about what I order from now on. You can click on the size you need but I guess they send you whatever they want.

I purchased this to protect the surface of a desk made of soft pine. The vinyl cut easily and seems strong and tough. It has no odor, and will do what I need it to do. It's appearance, though, is pretty tacky. It came tightly rolled and with pronounced waves in its surface when laid flat. I tried all the suggestions. Warmed it with a hair dryer to soften the plastic, covered it flat with stacks of heavy books to try and flatten it out. Even hung it vertically using clothes pins and warmed it with a hair dryer to see if gravity would remove the wrinkles. There was an initial improvement, but its condition has been unchanged for the subsequent 48 hours. You can see the wrinkles in the attached photo.So, if you just want to use this product to protect something, I think it will work. But recognize that it will be unsightly, and IMO not suitable for uses where appearance is important (eg., cover a table in a spot where others will see it).

Fits perfectly, placed it on top of my desk 30by 60 inches, looks great.

Good product. Some smudges on the film. Could be cheaper since it’s plastic.
