LiOR 100% Organic Pure Date Syrup, 14.1-Ounce Squeeze Bottle (Pack of 2, Total of 28.2 Oz)

I do like this date syrup, but I have to say that I prefer the Date Lady Organic Pure Date Syrup just a little bit more.For one thing, even though the only ingredient in this date syrup (as in the Date Lady syrup) is organic dates, in side-by-side taste tests this syrup seems to have a slightly sour after-taste, whereas the Date Lady syrup doesn't.Plus, the squeeze top has a little rubber diaphragm which requires you to use a little more pressure, and the syrup doesn't come out ...doesn't come out.. and then bam! It splooshes out in a burst, rather than just coming out gently and easily (like, yes, the Date Lady syrup).Finally, even though, again, both the Lior and the Date Lady syrup have no other ingredients other than 100% pure organic dates, this syrup requires refrigeration (it says to refrigerate after opening), while the Date Lady syrup does not (it says no refrigeration needed right on the bottle).The Date Lady Syrup is a little more expensive (66 cents per ounce, versus this one at 64 cents per ounce), but the Date Lady syrup is the one that I will reorder.

I'm allergic to honey, so I'm always looking for other similar things to use as an alternative. This stuff is just wonderful.The syrup tastes a lot like dark (grade B) maple syrup, just a bit thicker and fruitier. It's *really* good on Greek yogurt, and it's a natural combination with tahini on pita (the middle eastern equivalent of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich). I haven't tried making baklava with it, but given the taste I think it would work well. (Ok, I confess, sometimes I just squeeze a shot directly into my mouth. At least it's healthier than the aerosol cheese).The squeeze bottle is a little stiff, but I keep it upside down in the fridge and so far it hasn't had a leakage problem. The price for a bottle on Amazon is quite variable, so it's worth keeping track of that for a week or two, or waiting for it to be available as an add-on. Otherwise, however, this stuff rocks.

Absolutely delicious and so convenient. I loves dates and I don't always have fresh dates on hand so this is a terrific alternative. I use it almost everyday in my coffee, smoothies, cooking, you name it. Dates are just delicious and Lior Organic Date Syrup does not disappoint. 100% vegan and beyond easy to use; just a squeeze and you're good to go. Natural sweetness and easy to use. Yummmm. I'm happy to give my body great product. There's no sugar added so that another plus on top of it being organic. I pour some to a small bowl and add a lot of walnuts, you can eat it on a flat cracker or even lettuce if you watch how much carbs/sugar you consume.

I use this every morning in my coffee. I tried several products before trying the Date Syrup. I am cutting down on the amount of sugar I eat. This product gives​ me some sweetness in my coffee but it is a healthy alternative.

this is a nice syrup but has slight bitterness under lying the date taste that date lady brand does not, also comes in a plastic tube not a jar. it is how ever organic, vegan, and kosher export of Israel. price is ok arrived a little tardy but not real late.

I'll buy this as long as it's available. It gives everything a boost of "can't quite put my finger on why it's so good, but it is" flavor to everything I put it in.

I was hoping to use this instead of maple syrup but I realized it's not as "sugary" of a smell. I do love it. Dates are so healthy and I don't always feel like eating them whole. I can use this on top of pancakes or a bowl of fruit. I'm sure there are plenty more uses I'll find.
