I bought this surge protector 12/25/20 and it worked well at first. Today 05/24/2021 I started getting USB error messages on my phone. Then when my husband picked up the end of one of the USB cables that was plugged in it was so hot it burnt his finger and it blistered immediately. I checked the other USB cable and it was really hot as well. The Surge protector was extremely hot so we unplugged it immediately. We're really lucky we were at home when this surge protector overheated. It could easily have started a fire and burned our house down. Use at your own risk. I reported this to Amazon but the agent didn't seem concerned about the safety hazard.

The media could not be loaded.  I could not tell if it is wooden or plastic made at first, it feels so fancy, high quality. It’s plastic of course but very nice and thick plastic with wooden texture. Very heavy, truly beautiful. It works as I expected. Love it.

Look. I use this in #thescoutshed and it has 2 led shop lights, WIFI, a 100 watt stereo and a 10 ft USB type c cord plugged into it. It is plugged into a 1000 watt power inverter running off of a 100ah deep cycle battery charged by a solar panel. I run most of my YouTube channel, Christopher David Lawson of NEPA from the Shed. If you are looking for something with outlets and power. This is the power port for you.

I like the number of USB ports as it eliminates the need for separate USB adaptors. However, when I charged 5 devices (2 iPad, 2 iPhones, 1 Playstation Vista) at the same time, within 5 mins, the unit got extremely hot! I do not have a way to measure the exact temperature, but the top of the unit felt too hot to touch - much hotter than any surge protector I have ever used. The high temperature occurred even without me plugging in my laptop and external drives as intended. I do not feel confident about the safety of this product and will look for a more well-known and trusted brand like Belkin, etc.

I just received this product today and it has worked very well. It is lightweight, has a very good cord and seems to be very sturdy. It has more than enough sockets to accommodate my quite large gaming setup, and powers an Xbox One and 750w PC very well. It does not get too hot, even over extended periods. It also has a socket further away from the rest of the sockets making it easy to plug in my Google Home without covering up the other sockets.One complaint I have is that it does not seem to charge my phone as quickly as my old one did, but that may be an issue with something else, like the cable.Overall, very satisfied with it. My four star rating is only so because of the aforementioned charging problem, and if it turns out to be something else, I will change to five stars.Edit: It's been about five days and I can now say for certain that charging a phone is not as good on this charger than just plugging it into the wall. That said, it still is adequate. I will be charging my phone with it instead of a wall socket because I like not having a hot charger and I have had bad experiences with power surges.My review is a solid 4.5/5. While I still am a bit disappointed that it charges a bit less slowly, there is nothing wrong with the product, and I can say with full confidence that I do not regret buying.

OK I'm sure these have been around for a while, in all brands and price ranges, but I am over the moon with this product and how convenient and compact it is!! I would highly recommend for any room needing multi plug ins and the peace of mind of a surge protector! This will be used in child's room to handle their electronics (for now)! 😄

This is an excellent addition especially when you need multiple outlets and have newer electronics that give you a "USB" cable to power device. 12 outlets and 5 more "USB" connects is absolutely what I needed. Being surge protected and cord to outlet being a heavy gauge makes the purchase well worth the price. The "USB" outlets same me a few dollars I would have to spend on conversion plugs and gives extra power outlets now. I am very happy with my purchase. It was sent quickly from purchase. It has great quality and features and really can't beat the price! I would definitely recommend to others.

So far so good! It has weight to it, so it doesn't just slide off the table or flip over like others I've had. I like how the usb outlets are spaced out so you can easily plug/unplug individual ones. It also has one regular plug spread out a little bit from the others so you can fit one of the block plugs without blocking another port. Plenty of USB and regular outlets. The part that goes into the wall is a flat plug as well so fits great behind furniture! Very happy with this purchase so far. -Jen

Most devices similar to this one have too many outlets and not enough USB ports. I looked around longer than I'd like finding one that at the very least had an even count of the two. This strip may be the highest even count of outlets to USB ports, and it's rated high enough that you can use quite a few hungry devices on it before reaching the USB's overall capacity.

Es complemento perfecto para cualquier espacio en el hogar, personalmente lo uso en mi escritorio así me libro de los múltiples cargadores, adaptadores y lo concentro todo en un solo lugar. Buenos materiales y acabados, el cable es bastante largo y grueso, buen producto.

I returned the product because I found another one that had 2 power surge bars with USB ports and a plugin multiple with 6 outlets and 2 USB ports for 30 dollars. The only thing I liked better with the one I kept, was the cord was short, only 4 feet.
