A truly great cutting surface. It's dense and weighs a lot more than you might imagine, giving it a comfortable heft and providing a solid base for your prep work. It's firm, but gives enough to protect your sharpest, hardest steel blades from dulling and chipping. Has a slightly 'sticky' texture that makes it easy to keep a firm grip on food items as you cut and keeps the board from slipping on the countertop. It also resists damage from your knives better than any other synthetic board I've tried. Also reputedly can be sanded to remove surface nicks and scratches. Finally, it is easy to clean with warm soap and water, and can handle being bleached to kill bacteria and remove staining. While the price may strike you as high for a 'plastic cutting board,' it's worth every cent.Don't put it in a dishwasher, and don't subject it to heat... It will warp. Beyond that, appears pretty indestructible!

I love this cutting board. Easy on my knife edges, much easier to take car of than a wood board. I just wish you could get it with a juice groove.

I absolutely can't cook without this cutting board now! It's made of a hard rubbery kind of material that softens the blow if you cut up a million items hard and fast during one cooking session. It beats the hell out of wooden boards!
