The media could not be loaded.  The unit is simple, basically the two parts that go on the door will activate when the door is opened and send a signal to the receiver and this one will make the noice or tune chosen, you can also make it louder or less noisy, it has multiple options of sounds and tunes, the part that goes on the outlet is somewhat bulky but it does not interfere with other regular plugins. I’m satisfied with the product. Ok.

This This chime hooks up to the wall very easily and adds extra safety and "charm" to my home, it is great to get an alert when the dogs open a door a someone is trying to come in, and the alert will come with great music of your choice, I am so using the Christmas song for the upcoming holidays! it comes with the receiver and the motion sensor. I looove that is loud so I can hear from far! Great product and the price to me is unbelievable for how good quality it is !

First of all, my only disappointment was when I read the Amazon blurb, they said it had a range of 1000' while the instructions plainly say (after you receive the unit) the range is 600'. I set up plugging the master unit into a foyer wall approximately 15' from the door and the mailbox is approximately 50' from my front door (total of 65' (through the door). My mailbox is genuine plastic so there shouldn't be a signal problem. It takes all of about 1 minute to decide the melody/volume and 15 seconds to pair. I tested first 1 feet apart - success! Now for the real test at 65' with the front door closed - success. I don't know about the longevity of the transmitter since it is in a hot/cold/humid environment, the $20 investment was worth the gamble. I don't believe the transmitter will be exposed to rain but I will see how this experiment works. So far, I love it!Update 3/2/20 Mail alert is still working great! I don't really know how long the battery will last but I think this is the best gadget I've ever bought!Update 10/4/20 The "mail box" alert is working great still with the original batteries!

Update; purchase this door bell in November of 2020, It worked great for a month, but we have had to reset it multiple times, now as of today, it has quit working all together.I bought this door bell for our office. My co-workers and I work in the back and no one sits in the reception area. You cannot hear when someone enters the front door. We had a stranger standing in hall way one day staring at us, looking sort of shocked. He asked us, if this was Dr.______ office. He turned and left a few days later, the same person did the same thing to another office a couple of doors down from us. I purchase this little gem, now as soon as the door opens it ding dongs, ding dongs loudly enough. So easy to install. Well worth the money.

I ordered this to provide me with a way to know if someone was coming into my house in a room with two doors. Installation was easy, but the unit requires a very precise tolerance between the door and jam units. So precise, in fact, that if outside the tolerances described in the installation manual, the receiver would not recognize the door opening.Given that not all doors and door jams are fit that precise, this product doesn't function as I expected.

For years we had some antique bells that would ring when the doors were opened, while effective they weren't real loud and somewhat difficult to hear. I wish I had found this little chime system earlier! It installed easily, has volume control, and tons of different chimes. Now it's easy to know when someone comes in our storefront! Inexpensive piece of mind.

Purchased this for our office. Makes it so much easier for the people in the back to know if someone actually walks in. Love that it has different chimes, will be great for the holidays, etc. Would highly recommend this.

I was So excited to get this for my business after reading the reviews but I’m so disappointed because it isn’t as loud as I thought, on the highest setting :( I own a dog grooming shop and was really hopeful it would be where I Could hear it without having to be really close. :(
