Nice accessory to take your photography up a notch
Great accessory for your XS Max. Bayonet mount makes changing between your lenses quick and easy. It’s a little bulky not for an everyday case which I knew when I bought it.

Wow
This is a pro rig element. Fantastic quality!Note This is not great for just carrying in your pocket as it makes the form factor really large. but it’s truly a beast, easy to assemble and disassemble, and I love it.

Very well design and well built, but I had second thoughts and returned it.
First, this cage lives up to it's name...it's a beast!! Large, heavy, well machined. Great button movement. Great sturdy lens mount. Lots of accessory mounting options..It's strengths are also it's weakness. It's huge so you wouldn't want this as a case for your phone. You would have to take your phone out of it's case, pop it into the beast cage, and when done, you have to take the phone out and again put it back in it's case for casual use. The lens are good quality but extremely expensive. $185 for a zoom lens is way expensive. All the lens are expensive. It will not take the standard m mounts. If you understand what you want, this is the best of it's kind. But I returned it bc it turned what is a tiny phone that you can snap out and use any time into a huge system that is about the size of a 4/3 camera! And much more expensive, and much less functional, and much less image quality. $135 for the cage, about $300 for a set of lens, then the cost of the phone itself. Truly defeats the purpose of the phone camera.

A beast indeed, in a good way!
I know that many folks are wanting to make their iPhone cameras even better, and I think that the Beastgrip is a great way to do this. The build is solid and high quality. The machined metal 37mm threads are durable and make it easy to securely mount a lens (I'm using the Beastgrip Pro Wide Angle, but any 37mm compatible lens could be used) There are a number of standard threaded mounting points for tripods or other gear, and there is one cold shoe built into the case. My only complaint, and why 4 and not 5 stars, is that the downside of a solid, durable metal build is that the phone becomes bulkier and heavier (particularly important if you are using a gimbal) than ideal. However, having looked at a number of iPhone lens set-ups, including Moment, I think the trade-off is worthwhile... I want durability and I prefer threaded lens mounts to bayonet mounts (though there is a bayonet mount plate included, if you prefer that), and I also feel like my phone has greater protection and utility in the Beastgrip. As a phone case I find it surprisingly good, given the weight/size - the buttons are excellent, and it is easier to take the phone in/out of the Beastgrip if you prefer to swap cases. Overall a really great product that will find a lot of fans in the iPhoneography world.

Really improves iPhone handle for media.
Wraps your iphone in protective milled aluminium. The buttons are incredible quality and engage positively. The surround site proud and protects the screen and lens. Mounting points all round allow attachment to tripods and also microphones. I use with my iPhone and EpoCam Pro to turn my phone into an interview camera for our webinars and remote interviews. Makes the iPhone less fiddly, slippy and delicate and you can bolt everything to it.I wouldn’t use as a normal phone case since it’s not pocket-friendly, but it’d certainly be bullet-proof!
