I like that the fan didn’t break the bank. And that it did a great job drying my floors after a flood. It is a bit noisy but I don't think theres a such thing as a quiet noiseless fan. Would deff recommend to someone looking to purchase one.

I woke up Sunday to one of my worst fears. One of my fish tanks leaked through the night and I lost about 30% of water from the tank. Needless to say my floor was soaking wet. I threw towels down but it wasn’t enough. I fought with this for the whole day, even through house fans in the area to see if that would help, but sadly it didn’t. I purchased this fan and placed it down and within an hour it was showing signs of getting dry. I’m still using it now in that same spot but I’m thinking another 30 minutes and it should be fine. Still, I’m keeping it on for awhile as it was a lot of water. I’m very happy with this fan. It is a bit loud, nothing major though, I don’t really understand the complaints. I mean I flooded my floor, for something this severe I wouldn’t expect silence! I own a bunch of fish tanks ranging in sizes from 150 gallons all the way to a 2 gallon nano tank. Hopefully I won’t need to use this again, but I’m definitely glad I have it. I may buy another one just to be safe.

Bought this for my husband--uses it to dry his garage floor. Light weight, high powered. Dries hard floors and carpet/rug areas very quickly.

There are multiple reviews that are accurate.This is NOT quiet.This is not industrial strength or sufficient for drying flooded floors. Having said that, it WILL assist I'm addition to pump or wet vac and dehumidifierThis is PERFECT for air circulation, quick dry mopped floors, speed drying of cleaned rugs/carpet.I'll update this review, if anything changes. Paid for itself in the first use, so it has my endorsement and the five stars. I'm planning on adding two more units since it's designed to stack and store; reduce need to move around and possibly reduce dry time for fabrics/rugs.Only need one for hard floors.I don't wish to deduct a full star due to single speed and decibels. It's the only disadvantages to the product, in my opinion and maybe .3 star penalty at most. 😉Hope it works for you!

Dried a very wet carpet in just a couple hours. It is loud but it moves a lot of air and works for what it is designed.

I'm writing this review only because it's not nearly as noisy as some of these other reviews make it out to be. It's a fan who's blades rotate at a high speed. If you want a gentle spring breeze to lightly caress your soaked floor this is not for you. However, if you want a lightweight piece of equipment that will pull air from the heavens above and direct it to your floor get this fan. Seriously though, I use them to speed dry carpet after HWE (hot water extraction). Works great.
