Longer than most fixed and shorter than a machete, came with a serious bevel and used the sharpener to touch it up. Essential for hunting or bug out. Sheath has decent retention and mounting options. Would buy again.

Tight Hold
Ka-Bar knife fits nicely. Like that the snap handle strap is rotatable so that you can position it for your carry. I carry on the left and have the snap rotated so the flap is to the back to mitigate it coming undone if brushed up against an obstruction. It's a very tight hold so need a bit of effort to seat it and taking it out. Belt loop is large and long so hangs a bit low. May need a thigh strap to keep it from banging on the leg. Cut outs for use with soft molle or straps.

Excellent Update
This is a great update to the classic marine fighting knife. Mine was made by Camilus and this K-Bar sheath fits perfectly. The retention adds safety and the multiple options add convenience. The blade is well protected and unlikely to come through in a fall.
