What was once a chore, is now quite relaxing...
ETA: After 3 years, this is still my "go-to" brush. Plus, we added a Bordoodle to our family and she will lay down and sleep when I use this brush! I would not hesitate to buy it again!*********************************************I used to struggle with brushing my Goldendoodle. He has very sensitive skin and did NOT like to be brushed. And heaven help me try and brush his legs and belly! I tried all kinds of brushes. I even used my daughter's Wet Brush (that actually works a bit for people who need another cheaper option). After reading the reviews here and convincing myself to loosen the purse strings and spend money on this DOG brush (I bought brushes for my entire family for less...lol), I can honestly say, it was totally worth it!My pup was hesitant at first (due to all the other brushes I have tried)...but now, he will lie down and relax while I brush him. Yay!!!!!!The brush itself feels sturdy and easy to hold. I have small hands, but my 6'3" husband with ape-like hands has no trouble with it either. The "pins" don't hurt like other slicker brushes do. I always try brushes out on my own skin first to make sure it isn't going to hurt my dog. And it works! With a Goldendoodle, you have to line brush and this brush gets in there and makes him fluffy again! I always brush him before I bathe him so he doesn't tangle and then I brush him again after his bath (when he is dry) to fluff him up.The brush is pretty too (bonus). :) Don't hesitate, buy this brush if you can afford it. If not, get a Wet Brush...it works too (not as well, it doesn't get to the skin, but it works for a fast brush job).

Doodle Perfect!
I’ve searched for years for the perfect brush for my Medium F1b Goldendoodle. This. Just get it.Worth every $. She loves it. Doesn’t stab like other rake style brushes. She even rolled on her back for her belly, which she usually does not enjoy. She was back to a fluff ball in under 5 minutes!

best brush EVER!
My goldendoodle is almost 7. I have been in search of the perfect grooming tool for her from the first day she joined us at age 8 weeks. The breeder recommended a Les Pooches brush which she just hated. She avoided this slicker brush with a passion. Then I discovered Christensen brushes when she was 6. The first one I bought was a C Christensen Mark Curved Back slicker. The difference between the CC slicker and the $75 Les Pooches was remarkable. She actually would stand on the grooming table and let me brush her legs for the first time ever. Then I ordered the T brush which is truly a miracle. I ordered a 16 mm and by accident, received the 27 mm. My dogs coat is 3-4 inches so the longer pin brush is actually better for her than what I ordered. Now that she is 100% mat free, the t brush keeps her coat just perfectly fluffed and looking her best. This t brush would NOT work on a matted coat. I have found that brushing her every 3 days (now that she is mat free) with the T brush, she can always have a mat free coat. Definitely worth every penny. I only wish I had learned about the Chris Christensen brushes 7 years ago and could have saved her the agony of the other slicker. I am a groomer at the largest dog shelter in Denver and been grooming dogs for 15 years so I have had experience with every grooming tool in our arsenal. This one is the best!!

High quality brush bought for dog. Cat unexpectedly loves this brush.
I was a little worried about buying this brush due to the price. I was prepared to be disappointed. I purchased in advance of getting our labradoodle puppy so knew I would have to wait to try it out. It arrived in very simple packaging. The wood is nicer in person and you immediately feel that it is high quality. I decided to try out the brush on my shorthair grumpy cat. She doesn't usually like brushing nor personal contact. I tried this brush and she went absolutely crazy! Rubbing her cheeks, face, getting her whiskers all wrapped in it. She drools all over the place. So, we knew suddenly this brush outweighed all the rest since she has never acted this way. Now, no lie, she does her cat chatter talk to us, bumping into us, and even stares at me and chomps on my arm lightly when I'm sitting there. I wonder if she's trying to tell me to brush her so I go get the brush and the cat immediately acts like she has been in cat nip, purring and running over, loving people. She's in love. I actually wish I recorded her face craziness on the brush because I've had her 13 years and never seen her act so silly. I would say it was a fantastic purchase and now think I am going to have to buy two (one for cat one for dog).

Love this brush!
I am a professional dog groomer and have been using and recommending CC brushes for years. I purchased this one for my cat at home. She loves it! The bristles are long but not sharp. Which is great for brushing down to the skin! I'm ordering a second one for ma salon to fluff dry doodle faces!

Excellent Doodle brush
I was able to get out Matts on my Mini Goldendoodles ears easily with this brush. After two months of regular use. No more Matt’s. Excellent brush and what my groomer uses

Gentle to dog
Very ergonomic and gentle on dog’s skin. Was hoping it would get out a little more undercoat although it does get a moderate amount. Also smooths top coat decently. My breed is Pembroke Welsh Corgi

Does the job but dog doesn’t like it
I bought this since I read so many amazing reviews about it. I have a 5 month old goldendoodle, and have been using this several weeks with him now. I will say he does prefer this brush over the last one he had, however he’s still not 100% happy about being brushed. Typically at the beginning, he will try biting the brush and stopping me from brushing him but then eventually he gives in. I do like the brush in that it feels pretty sturdy and it’s easy for me to brush him since it’s wide. Not sure if it was worth the money in our case, however it works for now and maybe he’ll grow to love it like the other doodles on these reviews have.My pup has a curly/wavy coat.

Love this brush. As a groomer it gets plenty of use and is lovely and light. Gets through tough knots and helps fluff dry brilliantly.

My dog actually likes this brush???
Yep - my Berner closes her eyes and likes this brush. Not the case with other brushes I have. Downside is the cost, and it takes a few brushings to get the steel bristle ends to round out and be more soft on the dog's fur/skin. My old brush's handle (of the same company) got loose but it's fine still

this brush is simply amazing and has changed my whole approach to grooming my ...
I have to say I was a little skeptical about purchasing this brush as (1) the cost (2) I had already been through two other similar brushes, they were however much cheaper.I did read on some wheaten owner sites that this was THE brush to use so I took the plunge and hoped I was doing the right thing. Well let me tell you, this brush is simply amazing and has changed my whole approach to grooming my wheaten. The quality is excellent and the cost, looking back, is insignificant when looking at the overall ability of this brush. I have already recommended it to other wheaten owners.
