TP Activity Bouncycle

I jumped through alot of hoops to get Bouncycles for my 20-month-old twins. We were living outside the U.S., so I purchased them via Amazon, shipped to a freight-forwarder in Miami, and from there they were to have shipped sea-freight to Barbados. Our plans changed, so I had the freight-forwarder divert them to the grandparents' house in Louisiana. I was so excited for the babies to try them... when they FINALLY arrived, they were as cute as they looked in the online video. They were also super-simple to snap together, as promised. The "only problem" was, my babies hated them!We have repeatedly tried, with encouraging words & lots of enthusiastic encouragement.... but they simply do NOT like these bikes. The biggest problem is that the wheels do not roll backward. In order for the "bounce" mechanism to propel the bike in a forward motion, the wheels necessarily lock when you try to roll them backwards. They are one-direction only. For my boy, who loves to roll toys & bikes backwards & forwards, it was instant tears. I did not "push" the issue, just kept the little bikes around, hoping that as my twins developed, they would later find them interesting... but no luck so far. :(

I wanted an indoor type bike for the kids to play with and this worked out great. I saw some not so great reviews but we are a big bike family so I took a chance. This is a great bike to use before you get to an outdoor balance bike. Both my 15 month son and 3 1/2 daughter love to play with it. My 6 year old want's to play wiht it but I think there is a weight limit so sh knows to stay off it. It works well for indoor fun.

It's not easy buying a gift for my niece. She would rather punch her older brother than to play with her toys. Bought this for her birthday and it was the perfect gift. Sturdy construction and very well made. I suggest only for indoors only. It doesn't seem like the wheels will last if ridden on exterior surfaces.

My 18-month-old is not very interested in this bicycle. Bought it for him for Xmas and his 3-year-old brother plays with it more than he does, probably about 2-minutes is the most he is interested in it. He doesn't like it because it doesn't balance well and it is very stiff. It looks very neat and I think if he wasn't so distracted by other toys he could try and give it a chance and maybe get the hang of it. I like to get my kids more active and I will try to keep encouraging him to use it. He actually shows the same interest in other bicycles he has had, I just encourage this one more because he can use it inside and the others he can only use outside. I do not regret this purchase but an improvement in design wouldn't hurt, probably if it was a little smoother and it went reverse, as well.

Best gift ever for 2-3 years old

My grand kids could not make this move at all. Maybe they don't weigh enough or don't bounce hard enough. Anyway it is just a waste for my grandkids. I expected much better.

It looks cool, the kids love it. However, bouncing may cause falling... so have to keep an eye on him.

Looks nice quality..but doesn't seem a big fun for kids

Brought this for youngest granddaughter she loved it. Will buy for grandson birthday being the youngest of four had plenty of bikes to play with but this one is so different and very sturdy. Can't go wrong.

las rueda no se mueven con facilidad, cuesta tanto que no lo quiso utilizar, ni intentando modificarlo para que se mueva con fluidez, una decepción

At the moment I can not really give a comment on this item as there is a part missing and I have emailed them to see if they can send the part to my grandsonSo he can play on his toyBut in the mean time it's been put up in the cupboard out the wayAs I believe they will sort it for me as it was for his first birthday and I hope it gets to him by next weThat's all am saying about this toySo farAs u can see in the picture what is missing 😞

Seems too stiff

my baby is now 18month, still he doesn't like this and when baby sit down the seat is going down(bounce) it makes baby scare I think
