I saw the ad and decided to buy the wallet.I love the convenient size, the durable case and 'expensive looking' exterior. It does not hold all my business cards but has sufficient space for my cards with magnetic stripes which contain info that needs to be protected. I feel more secure having this wallet in my purse. I still find it mind boggling that people can steal your info just by passing near you or standing in line with you at any business place. I feel better knowing that the wallet gives me that security. It is not a wallet for cash. It is not for all cards. I am satisfied with the product and I bought two more for my sister and niece. I definitely recommend it for the purpose for which it was designed.

I liked the Sharkk "wallet" so much, I ended up ordering two more the next day after receiving my initial order. Does it replace my primary wallet or my travel wallet? No. Is it the most convenient way to carry a lot of credit cards AND a decent amount of cash (meaning more than three US$-sized bills)? Not so much. But, I really did not purchase this for use as a wallet, per se. I don't put demands on my wallets like George Costanza, but my daily wallet inventory consists of eight cards and around seven US$-sized bills. The Sharkk will hold eight cards, but this leaves NO room for cash or much for anything else. You could squeeze a ninth or possibly tenth card, but the Sharkk will not close completely.So, why bother...?I have a LOT of cards - credit cards, rewards cards, auto club cards, amusement park cards, airline lounge cards, gas cards, etc. Some I use only for travel or only during the summer/winter season or some are hardly used at all. It is almost always a pain to locate the card I need when I have to find it - especially, if it is not part of the regular rotation (e.g. in my wallet). In steps the Sharkk. It is great at helping to organize and to store all sorts of cards! The accordion-like file system makes it very easy to identify the card I need. And the aluminum skin offers great protection and the various colors offered help me to color code or separate cards into each Sharkk based on type or frequency of usage (OCD? Slightly.).Plus, when traveling, I can see where this will help me and the Mrs., to keep our IDs and those of our four kids organized and serve as a means for me to keep back up credit cards and IDs safely stored away from potential pick pocket situations.In terms of use as a wallet... For me, the Sharkk just would not work. On a daily basis, I need to carry too many items with me (I've got four kids) for the Sharkk to hold. And the Sharkk is not a great choice if I wanted to go light and limit the load to a bare minimum amount (3-4 cards, including driver's license, and 3-4 US$-sized bills). In this case, the Sharkk is too thick and rigid when compared to a thin, billfold wallet that is flexible and can carry that same amount. So, one star removed for this since it is advertised as a "wallet" credit card holder.But, as long as you know what you are buying and for what purpose ("credit card holder"), the Sharkk is a terrific value and serves this purpose very well!

Update -- I purchased this wallet for my husband after his credit card number was stolen in an airport. It doesn't replace a regular wallet (due to space) but it keeps credit cards secure which is exactly what we wanted. It's sleek, fits well in a pocket and well-made for the price.I looked at other brands that cost 5x as much and the quality was the same. Great buy for the price. HOWEVER, THE WALLET BROKE AFTER JUST A COUPLE OF MONTHS. HE KEEPS JUST FIVE CREDIT CARDS IN THE WALLET. I BOUGHT HIM A SECOND WALLET -- AGAIN, JUST FIVE CREDIT CARDS -- AND IT BROKE AFTER JUST A WEEK. I HAVE ANOTHER BRAND I HAVE USED FOR TWO YEARS! WHILE I FIRST GAVE THIS WALLET FIVE STARS, I NOW CAN NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL. I HEAR THAT SHARK OFFERS A LIFETIME GUARANTEE AND YOU CAN BE SURE I WILL BE ASKING FOR REFUNDS FOR BOTH WALLETS.

Because it can't. It's a cool idea, but badly implemented. Maybe in China (because, of course, that's where it's made) they don't carry as much crap in their wallets. The thing is just too small to replace even your average traditional wallet. I started transferring the contents of my wallet into it and only made it about half way before running out of room. I don't even have a lot of stuff! I have an ID and 12 other cards. This "wallet" would be good if you only carry an ID, maybe 5 other cards and a little bit of cash. And you better hope you don't get ones for change, because you're not fitting those in it. This thing kinda sucks as a wallet. If you smoke, it might make a nice cigarette holder if you rip out the card separator though.

This product is at a good price, and this is possibly for good reason. I love the design of the wallet; everything is easy to reach. The only downside is unfortunately what many reviewers have been saying, the clasp. It hasn't broken on me, (yet) however the design of the wallet is so sleek it has fallen out of my back pocket and spewed all of my cards all over the place. It makes me a bit more apprehensive about if I was doing something more active, like running or biking. Definitely something to take under consideration when buying.

I had an Aluma-Wallet which I broke. Of course, it hit the pavement 4 times before the hinge gave up. So I went shopping for another one and found this Sharkk at my trusty Amazon site. Although it does hold only 10 cards well, I don't need to take my entire credit profile with me when I go shopping, only the few cards I use all the time, like my Amazon Visa which gave me enough points for two Kindles!! So, I cannot say these wallets, which do protect your information from thieves, are indestructible; but they are almost so. Also, the colors are vibrant so that you can see the wallets in the bottom of your purse. And for those of you who shop in areas where purse-snatchers, those idiots who would rather expend energy stealing that earning a living, come out from under the rocks, the wallets fit in almost all of my pockets. I have one for cards/id and one in a different color for cash and medicare stuff. I love 'em! And the price here is great.
