Very solid heavy perch that is 10.5 in. Length.
Bought this for my moluccan Cockatoo, was hoping it would have 12 in usable length, but the perch is actually 10.5 in, they count the mounting screw to come up with 12 inch. Nice looking perch, but make sure you're good with 10.5 in for the actual length of the perch before you buy.

Well worth the money
My macaw loves it and he is SUPER picky. He is using it daily now and it has made great improvement to his nails. It is very sturdy and is a perfect size for a large bird.

Nice perch
I love the perches and have bought 3. However my 429g baby African grey is causing the perches to droop. They don’t seem to be sturdy enough. But I love how the perches have filed those baby claws! I just turn the perch around to try to keep it level. I have only had them a week so hopefully they will last

It’s a yes
It’s a lot thicker than I thought, but turned out to be easily the thickness I needed. It has a kinda sandpaper feel to it. Bird was seen peaking at it. The look is natural looking and the product itself has a nice build. The connection parts are adequate for the weight this perch has. The color is that of natural wood.

My parrot never took to this perch after multiple attempts to entice him.
