Main Motors Set Replacement/Spare Part for Haktoys HAK907 17" Diagonal 2.4GHz 4CH RC Quadcopter

Haven't had to use these spares yet so it's a little hard to rate just yet.

This replacement motor worked great.

I bought a HAK907 copter and had one of the motors fail within about a month.Rather than send the copter back (it was under warranty after all), I asked seller (4Everlasting) to simply send a set of replacement motors, and they did, in exchange for revising my review of the HAK907.Note: These motors don't have connectors, so have to be soldered in place! i.e. You need have a soldering iron, and need to know how to solder! (You also need a tiny phillips screwdriver!)Note2: There are two different motors, presumably one clockwise and one counter clockwise. i.e. If one motor fails, you can replace it with this 2 pack. However, If a second one fails, you only have a 50% chance of having the correct 'spare' motor! (Though one might be able to reverse the polarity of a motor if needed)Installation Notes:0) FIRST MARK WHICH MOTOR ISN'T WORKING SO YOU CHANGE THE RIGHT ONE!! Ask me how I know!1) Remove 4 screws holding Optional Camera if you have it. (Note: It's really not a great camera, so don't bother buying it IMHO)2) Remove 4 screws holding plastic guard/shield3) Remove 4 screws holding copter to styrofoam chassis4) Remove copter drive train from chassis5) Slide motor/arm/blade assembly from chassis6) Cut out old wires (but leave a little stub so you can see which colors go where7) Remove the screw holding the arm to the motor/blade assembly8) Remove the screw holding the motor retaining cover in place (no need to remove the blade/gear)9) Slide the motor out, pull the wires out of the arm; Feed the wires for the new motor through the arm and reassemble10) Solder the new motor/blade/arm assembly in place.Reassembly of the rest is the reverse of disassembly!
