I have no idea but they are very nice

Do the star fish sink in water or do they float?

I took five starfish experiments. Put them in 0.5 gallons of water. Two of them floated and three sank into the water. I only observed for a minute. I don't know if it will all sink into the water after a long time.

Can you place glue on these shells and place them on a board to be hung up on a wall?

As long as the glue you use is made for this purpose it should be no problem. You may want to rinse and dry the shells first to ensure proper application. Note-they are not really fully flat on any side, so it may be difficult to get a good, solid grip.

Are these good to help raise ph in a freshwater aquarium?

They will for salt water, as PH is recommended at 180+ ... I used a couple pieces in mine after soaking.
