Beautiful story!
When Stacey Gage graduates from college and comes home to live with her grandmother, she thought everything would be great as always. But a shock awaited her. Her grandmother was penniless, the bills were delinquent, and even Grandma Addie seemed different. Stacey struggled to hold things together and find a job to help them survive. Thankfully she had wonderful neighbors who were willing to help as needed! When her grandmother discovers Stacey's stash of $35.00 that was going to be used for gas to get to a job interview, Addie uses it to go to the beauty shop as well as use up the gas in Stacey's car. Stacey manages to race to the recycling center on her bicycle with 4 bags of cans she has collected as she walked around town in the early mornings. The kindness of the man at the center helped her come up with the much needed $20 for gas for tomorrow morning's interview at Adventureland. She makes it and gets a job-in the far outreach of the nature preserve at the park. It is a treasure in the rough-and Stacey immediately sees it's potential. While waiting for nonexistent customers, her neighbor, Grandpa Sam comes in wearing a bear costume. When Stacey discovers who it is, she feels like she has found a "Beary Godfather" who will help her make her part of the park more successful. It doesn't hurt that his grandson, Henry, was her best friend growing up, and the one she has always cared about especially after her parents dying in the tornado ten years ago. But Henry has his own complications-and holds back from Stacey his involvement in the park, and her life. This is a sweet story with some sad parts (Addie has Alzheimer's), some scary parts (tornados and wild bison), some maddening parts (Lorraine), and some parts that just make your heart fill with happiness (too many to count, but especially Henry and Stacey and George's final scene). It is the kind of book that stays with you long after the last page is read, and you keep remembering things and smiling.Author Terri Reid, is a successful writer of the Mary O'Reilly Paranormal Mystery series, and is what I think of as a gentle soul. However this book is totally different from Mary O'Reilly's stories, without any ghosts or paranormal activity. I can't recommend it enough for readers of all ages who like stories about love for families as well as that special person with whom to share their life.

Awwww, this is such a sweet story.
Stacy Gage is back in town and nothing is going her way. Then, there's Henry..oh...and his ex-fiance Lorraine. Lorraine has no intention of letting go of Henry, and Stacy is obviously winning him. Of course, Lorraine can't let that stand. In the meantime, Stacy already has her hands full taking care of her grandmother along with some huge animals. Bearly in Love is a sweet modern-day fairy tale type story, and Terri Reid has written another winner. One of my favorite bits because I could really picture it:""You can't strong-arm me anymore, Henry Guthrie," she screamed, and kicked him in the leg."

Bearly in Love.....by Terri Reid
Sweet, love story that flows together for a storybook ending. Have read all of Terri's Mary O'Reilly series books (14) and decided to read Bearly in Love because she is such a good storyteller.....I knew I would enjoy this one too. If you get a,chance, read all of them. Each one is amusing, thrilling, entertaining adventure!Terri McNamara

this book is what I call "a feel good" book ...
this book is what I call "a feel good" book. it is refreshing to read a book that covers all the feelings that one would go thru, when there is a life changing event and to have someone who was there help thru it. on both sides. well Done Terri!

This is a nice book, I really enjoyed it
This is a nice book, I really enjoyed it. It is quite different from the Mary O'Reilly series, but I love the way she brings you awareness of the disease the grandmother has. It is very informative and Terri deserves recognition for incorporating her causes into her books. Way to go, Terri!

Terri Reid Fan
This book was a sweet story with wonderful characters that you truly can love. It also deals with adult children and grandchildren being the caregivers to parents/grandparents suffering with the onset of Alzheimer's, and as usual, Terri Reid handled the subject so well with humor and love.
