Mil-Pod: Sunglasses Multi-Mount Case

I routinely wear this on my backpack to protect my glasses, and it is a wonderful design! I've had this since November 2013 and it still looks and works like its brand new. For an idea of size, you can fit a standard 12 ounce can of soda inside it and zip it up safely. Your sunglasses will rattle about inside the Mil-Pod but will be totally safe. If I had anything negative to say about it, it would be that the button on the strap pops off very easily. Luckily, the strap has a notch seen right above the button which catches onto the Molle and won't let go. Failing that, you could also attach the hook thing which will guarantee its not going anywhere. Also, I still have no visible scratches on my glasses since using this product. Highly recommended!

Both forms of the belt attachment is really nice. of space inside. I can fit my goggles, a microfiber cloth, a miniature tightening tool, and earplugs. Hard shell feels very strong - stronger than some other hard shell cases I've owned.

This is a decent case for eye ware. It is large and the molle strap can be used to attach it to a vest or bag, but it can be a loose fit. I haven't had the problem of the snap coming loose, and I do wish I could remove the clip. It is pretty rugged and will protect your glasses, or whatever you put in it pretty well, My safety glasses are light and that may be why I'm not having a problem with the snap. If something heavier was put in there, I can imagine it could cause some issues. So overall, I like it, but I wish it could be a bit smaller and have a removable clip (like a carabiner attached to a paracord loop).

I'm pleased to review this product. It has very high-quality material, zipper, clip etc. and i really like the color. The case is rigid, not hard but should protect my glasses unless i actually step on it, I suppose but i'm not going to do that. I didn't think i was going to like the 'wire part' of the clip and thought I would need to upgrade it - However the clip is also very high-quality. I typically clip it onto my right-front pocket of my jeans and it's easy to get on and off. If I was going to offer suggestions to improve this glasses case, I would say . . "Don't change a thing!". So far I am a fan of this semi-rigid sunglasses/eyeglasses case sold by Hazard 4. Hazard 4 Mil-Pod Sunglasses Multi-Mount Case, Black Pros - Overall the case is very well made. The case itself is sturdy and semi-rigid, it would definitely withstand me sitting on it, dropping it or accidentally setting something heavy (<250 pounds) on it. The only time I could see this case failing is if something over 250 pounds was dropped or set on it or a car, or something of the likes ran it over. The stitching is well done and sturdy, as well as the belt attachment is securely fastened to the case. The button that holds down the belt attachment is sturdy and gives a crisp click when engaged. The case fits my OAKLEY MAINLINK SUNGLASSES perfectly with some more room to spare but is small enough to where the case isn't ridiculously big, its just the right size. Cons - The case is made in China but seems to be constructed well, wish it was American made though. Also, the carbine on the back is non-detachable. If you want that off you are going to have to cut it off, not a big deal for me as its kind of useful, but If you don't want it you will need to break it off. Aside from that, no further complaints. Will update if any others arise.

Ordered a second one of these to hold my backup sunglasses. Have had the first one for several years and amazed at how well it has held up. The older one is full of scratches and scrapes from the abuse it has taken but has held up well. It can be dropped, stepped on, and crushed but continues to protect the glasses. The clip is very sturdy allowing it to be attached to a belt loop, backpack or suitcase. If there was a downside it is the clip is so good that it is sometimes hard to remove because of the extra little clip on the plastic. Tried several other similar cases but they failed in different manners to meet my needs. Bought this one in a different color to be able to tell my primary and secondary apart from a distance.

I purchased this as a hard case for my Garmin 60csx GPS. No other case would fit or provided adequate protection (especially the Garmin branded ones). This case was true to specifications and was plenty roomy enough to accommodate the GPS unit. Other reviews of similar products criticized the belt strap for being too tight and the snap being too weak. The snap wasn't the most secure thing, but the strap wasn't as hard to secure as others made it seem. The attached clip seems sturdy enough and provides a 2nd attachment point on my backpack for more security. The clip is plastic, so it does have it's own limitations. But in terms of a case that secures and protects my GPS in a manner that is also accessable, this case was nearly exactly what I was looking for. 1 star deducted for the price and another for the flimsy snap. If quality of the belt loop were better, it would been a solid 4 star product. NOTE: I purchased this case when it was $17.98 plus $2.99 shipping.

I got this case because it looked durable AND had a clip as well as a belt strap so that I would have 2 ways to secure the case. It was a bonus that the case was actually roomier than I thought so it can actually hold 2 pairs of regular eyeglasses plus the cleaning cloth. It's certainly large and durable enough to secure items other than eyeglasses that might need protection inside a backpack, glove compartment, or briefcase. I keep it clipped inside my shoulder bag so it won't slide out like my other cases kept doing. Now, if it just had an alarm that would remind me to put my glasses IN the case, it would be absolutely perfect. I should note that this case is well made with a semi-rigid material that has a somewhat stiff feel. For me, this is a positive as it means the case can get knocked about or even sustain weight on top of it without the glasses getting broken. The zipper works smoothly and all seams look like they will hold up well for a long time. *It is very large so if you're looking for something to fit into a small fashion bag this case won't due. Ich bin Brillenträger und habe daher immer Probleme mit dem ständigen Wechseln zwischen Sonnenbrille und normaler Brille gehabt. Ich benutze das Etui jetzt am Schultergurt meines Rucksackes, den ich trage wenn ich mit meinem Metalldetektor unterwegs bin. Diese Lösung macht mein Leben erheblich einfacher. Die meisten Rucksäcke haben Montage-Möglichkeiten, es muss nicht unbedingt einer mit Molle-Befestigungen sein.

Muy buen case para los lentes, cabe cualquier medida de lentes por la amplitud del mismo, lo recomiendo, yo lo coloque en mi banger 2 y va muy bien.

It is large, very large, but that guarantees that your sunglasses will fit, no matter which size they are. I like the hook, as I mostly have a bag with me where I can hook this onto, and I have used the loop once or twice and have no issues with it. The hardness of the case gives me comfort that my sunglasses will come out the other end of more or less whatever I am doing. I like it!

I love Hazard 4. They make excellent stuff at a reasonable price. I typically travel with a their Plan B sling pack, and this was the perfect addition to keep my sunglasses handy and protected. It's basically the same size as a regular glasses case, but it's easy to attach to anything. I can either toss it in the bag with the rest of my stuff, or attach it to the MOLLE webbing, or clip it to something.
