Neither the coin nor triangular prism actually fits in the correspondingly shaped holes. Also, when the child puts his or her hand in the large hole to retrieve the object, the door pulls open. There's no latch mechanism to hold it closed. Such a great concept, but terrible build. I really wanted to like this but for $40 it's not worth it. Returning to either build my own or buy a better quality one.

Smaller than your standard imbucare box and the panels feel a bit thin, so may not be ideal if your child is hard on things. The panels also don't stay put, they just sit on top in the carved spot, so I'll be adding magnets or something to hold them on a bit better. That said, you can't beat the price and it serves its purpose just the same. I had planned to make something like this since we homeschool, but have a very small home with little storage space, and was excited to find that it was already a thing. It's definitely cheaper quality, and I can't vouch for the paint safety, so to be on the safe side my son won't be using it until he's past the toys in the mouth stage.

Doesn't work! The triangular prism doesn't fit. It also smells of chemicals and gave me a head ache. Will not be giving this to my child.

This box is not well made and will not hold up for long term or classroom use. It also is very slick, so clean it well. All of my pieces fit and nothing was broken. It is not a bargain, you get what you pay for.

Not all the shapes fit will in the holes. Also the top needs something to hold it to the box because this activities are for babies to toddlers (mine started using his at 8m and still uses it now at 1.5m. Love the idea just needs to be perfected. I use a stick putty to keep the top on the box.

This is great. The only thing is the front door doesn’t like to stay shut.
