I bought this as I can sit it in the window to solar charge during the day and then use it for an hour or two as a reading lamp in the evening. In the winter, I need to boost the solar charge via usb to use it more than an hour at most at full brightness. (I charge it via a usb power bank that was itself charged from a solar panel or via the usb charger mains plug that came with my phone) Other solar lamps I have to be honest last longer and charge faster. But this does have a robust flexible neck to angle the light exactly as you want it. I have deducted a star as the touch control is not always responsive on first touch. Overall the light is bright and not overly harsh so it's kind on the eyes.
