BBYES Women's Casual Cotton Linen High Waisted Harem Pants Loose Trousers with Pockets

For starters I was looking for a cotton or linen loose pants for travel to Philippines. These are nice and thin and state to be 100% cotton. However the fit was funky as you can see in photo. Very high, baggy waist and kinda cropped at the ankle. The crotch was also accidentally sewn to the front of the pant. I was able to fix that with a few thread snips so I could try them on. They would be functional but not what I was hoping for. For reference I am 5'7" tall and weigh 135 pounds. Using their size guide I ordered and am modeling a size Large.

Light, airy, and all-around comfortable. Color and sizing were as advertised. I was slightly concerned about the elastic waistband being overly tight, but they fit well without any odd bunching or digging into my skin. My only criticism is that the fabric is slightly see-through (very thin material). This does make them breezy, but you'll have to be careful what you wear underneath them.

So I ordered the “A-striped” style that had offset pockets on the front and charcoal stripes (and ordered large because I saw many comments about their running small... I’m 5’, 135 lbs and have a bit of that "pear" shape going on). I love THOSE. They’re so comfortable, soft (lightweight cotton-linen feel), didn’t seem to me to run small (even the opposite, but fine with ankles rolled up) and are cute as can be. Several folks have asked me where to get them. I wanted another pair and could see the styles offered differed but thought the ones labeled as “blue” on their choices would be similar other than pocket placement and color. THOSE did run small, the fabric is just a bit stiff and looks “cheaper” than the first I ordered, there are lots of loose threads, cut is narrower, and the blue stripes are much brighter than the more subtle look in the pic. For the price (and my expectations weren’t high for the price point) they’ll do as pajama bottoms if I can soften them up, but I so wish they were like the first pair.

The pants are very comfortable. They paired well with my white linen button down and blue suede loafers.

Be careful with the sizing chart. Very confusing! I ordered the 3x, normally wearing Western size 10. They were enormous! I can sew, so am taking them in to fit. Fabric is lightweight and perfect for meditation sits, summer days, and very comfy.It’s best to actually get a tape measure out and measure yourself, the. Compare to their sizing chart. Don’t go by US sizes on their chart. Go by YOUR measurements!One of the seams didn’t catch when sewn, but since I’m altering them anyway, I’m not going through the hassle of returning for an exchange, especially since they took weeks to arrive.If you can get the right size, these are worth the wait considering the price pint and quality.

They aren't as loose as on the model but I still love them. Very comfortable linen pants. I sizes up two sizes so they wouldn't be tight and I'm glad I did. I usually wear a size 4 in clothes and got a large. They are very roomy and comfy. I love them. Something the reviews on Amazon say to size up and when I do I'm drowning in the material but I'm glad I did with these. The medium would have fit me fine but I wanted them to be really loose so I went with the large.

EDIT: I posted this review less than an hour ago after putting these pants on for the second time, and originally gave a 4 star rating. I now unfortunately have to lower my rating as a massive hole just appeared in the ankle where these pants are LOOSEST. There was no tension in this area so to me it appears these pants are just falling apart after second wear. Would NOT recommendI love these pants! But they’re not exactly what I had hoped for. I would recommend ordering at least 1-2 sizes up. I ordered 2 sizes up and for me, the fit isn’t quite right.im quite curvy in the hips thighs and butt, and the fit is definitely a liiiitle too tight in these areas, more when sitting than anything. The pockets are super deep which I love. Quality seems to be good, although I’ve only worn them once and do have concerns about a butt rip at some point, but that’s relatively common for me. I will update as I wear them more.Other than the issue with fit these are great and I’d definitely recommend them, especially if you don’t have a lot of curves. If you have a lot of curves, go up at least 2-3 sizes.

First off, I wish I had taken the advice of other reviewers and gotten these bigger than I usually wear. I wear a large in pants and underwear, always. But for these I will I had tried more like a 2XL. I can wear them but the elastic fits on the smallest part of my waste and they aren't quite long enough for that to be comfortable. Aside from the size, I don't like the gathered waste band, it's very bulky, and the fabric doesn't feel very nice. I don't think I will bother returning these but I can't imagine I'll actually wear them. Maybe a friend will want them. If they were more expensive I might give them 1 star. At this price, maybe someone will love them.
