Study several videos first!
The product itself is fine except some kind of sealant should be added so that the screen can be resealed after the battery is fitted. The problem is the instructions which don't appear with the product rather you are directed to 'YoTube' where sure enough Yontex have a video. All went well until I was instructed to remove the tiny terminal blocks at either end of the battery which I did and then as instructed I separated the two halves of the phone. Unfortunately the video voice omitted to tell me that there were two blocks at one end of the battery and one at the other end. As I separated the two halves my heart sank as I felt a ribbon cable strip tear as underneath the one I had removed was another terminal block. For fun I resembled my iPhone 7 which now partially works and will go in the bin as I have already replaced it with an 8 plus which is so much better. So my advice is, get some good glasses as the screws are tiny, purchase some sealant to reseal the phone face on reassembly and watch several videos before you start. After the event I found the American videos the best and most complete with their instructions.

great replacement battery
My iphone 7 battery was down to 60-odd % capacity, i didn't really want to buy a new phone, so looked for a replacement battery. This item was delivered quickly, well packaged and includes all the tools needed to do the job.Replacing the battery is quite fiddly, if i was doing it again i'd invest in a suction cup opening tool like this:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Fosmon-Splitter-Repairing-Separator-Smartphone-1-Screen-Opening-Pliers/dp/B06Y2JWV9X/ref=asc_df_B06Y2JWV9X/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=328082311356&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2678696577162113172&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9046652&hvtargid=pla-349837664833&psc=1Otherwise i can thoroughly recommend this item

Shockingly good value. Charge out and buy one.
Cannot fault the kit. It has all you need to do the job. I would recommend a magnetic mat so you don’t lose the screws and can keep them in the right order. If you don’t have one then a couple of fridge magnets will work just fine. I watched a YouTube how to video several times and it all went smoothly. The most disconcerting part of the process was prizing the front glass off. I gently warmed the glass with a hairdryer which helped but it was a struggle initially. DON’T BE TEMPTED TO USE ANYTHING SHARP - the tools they supply will do the job and not damage your phone.Whole thing took 15 mins and you don’t need to be a techie. If you ever built an Airfix kit as a kid then you’ll have no problem.Net result has extended the life of my phone. With new ones costing close to a grand this is a good deal.I initially fully discharged the 30% in the battery and left it overnight to charge back to 100%. I am now going a full 24 hrs without charging even with heavy use.Only comment I would make is it feels ever so slightly heavier than before.

Good Tools / Battery Works Well
I did this at the same time as replacing a screen. The replacement is fine - my phone is back to how it was. It is a higher rated capacity than the original, but I can't really tell the difference, my phone now is at least back to how it was. A bonus is the tools: they are good quality (luckily, as the ones with the screen wouldn't work with the tri-screws).

Brittle plastic tools
The tools that come with this battery are weak, brittle plastic. iPhone batteries are held in place with very strong adhesive, and unfortunately the tool provided by Yontex is not strong enough for the job - it snapped and left a broken tip jammed in the iPhone battery bracket. The only way to remove the broken Yontex tool was with a screwdriver, which then slipped and cut a tiny ribbon cable, rendering the iPhone totally unusable. I am unable to comment on the quality of the battery as the iPhone has now been written off because of cheap tools. I will now have to get the phone repaired by an Apple professional - who I might as well have used to replace the battery in the first place instead of attempting a DIY job.

No problems.
I’ve had this fitted in my iPhone 7 for several months now and it’s still working perfectly. The original battery in the phone was so worn out it would only last an and hour or so. Since I installed this battery, it’s back to new and lasts pretty much all day. Came with some good quality tools and a screen protector. Very easy to fit yourself if you have a steady hand.

Great product and easy to install.
The battery is great. The instructions are easy to follow and it comes with all the necessary tools to install it correctly including the adhesion strips. I thought I’d wait a while to leave a review to judge the battery power and it’s very powerful as long as you follow the instructions on the leaflet.

Good upgrade.
Delivery was fast, the kit contained everything you need to replace the battery, watched a few YouTube videos until I found one that was clear. Battery was over 50% charged when received and replacement went as expected. Charged phone after repair and battery lasts well compared to before. The kit I received didn't contain a seal for around the screen but was aware of this before purchase.
