Good buy with a few drawbacks
This IR sender works fairly well. It includes a standard US AC wall plug so if you are looking to use it in the car with a USB adapter you will need to buy one separately. I bought the CCYC DC 5V to DC 12V USB Voltage Step Up Converter Cable which worked great. Line of sight is always important with an IR sender, but this one seems to be especially sensitive to direction. If you are above or below it's intended "horizon", reception will fall off. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product.

It works!
It works as expected. It would be nice if it was powered from USB. I had to put in an adapter in our car to get it to work. I used double sided tape and hung it from the tablet mount. The line of sight is pretty good. I was off to the side by quite a bit and had no problems hearing the audio!

Good product!
We liked how easy it was to get hooked up. We are using this to hook up to our iPad so our 4 kids can all listen through headphones at the same time.

Works Well!
Bought for TV head phones. Works well after installing an optical audio cable and changed setting in TV audio menu. Also I turn the switch off in back of unit when not in use to prolong life.

Great System
This allowed us to listen to our TV using the headsets from our Toyota Highlander rear DVD player. This was a very inexpensive way to add that functionality. It was truly plug ‘n’ play.

Good for multiple headsets in home theater setting.
Good product for using multiple headphones on a home theater system. No audio delay present (like what you would find with using multiple bluetooth devices in same setup).

Make note of the cable that come with it and what is not included.
It does what you expect. Delivers IR signals in a relatively small space (single room). It comes with a plug-in 12v DC wall converter for using it at home with AC power. There is no car adapter power cable, but the manufacturer makes one you can buy separately. It also comes with a somewhat short adapter cord with a 3.5 stereo plug on one end and dual RCA pins. It looks to be about half a meter long (18 inches). I was expecting a 3.5 to 3.5 extension cable, but it didn't come with one. Not sure why they left that out because it is essential to how many people will want to use this. I had to look in my box of spares and found what I needed so I could hook it up to my computer audio output. It transmits on the channel A IR frequencies only (2.3 and 2.8 Mhz for left and right stereo channels).
