Review: Great Helmet Speakers! - I don't own a Cardo helmet system but I wanted a decent set of helmet speakers so that I could tune into Spotify or the radio via my phone - not worried about phone calls as I ride to escape all of that! Wow! The sound quality is amazing, I paired these up with a Giveet BTI-018 2-in-1 bluetooth transmitter/receiver with a 1m male to female 3.5mm lead. The speakers are neatly installed into my helmet, the 1m lead is neatly fed through my riding jacket to an internal pocket and connected to the receiver. Connects easily to my phone via Bluetooth and works seamlessly. The only bit of faff was locating the speakers inside my helmet to correctly sit over my ears - absolutely not a design fault from Cardo at all. It took a few attempts taking the helmet on and off and trying on my glasses, and fine tuning the placement of the speakers, but now I have it spot on and couldn't be happier. Any bad reviews concerning the sound quality are 100% due to not locating the speakers appropriately. Highly recommended!

**Q: It is worth to change from standard one to this?**
A: The standard sound is very good. I have not tried the upgrade earphones, but people do say if you listen to a lot of music the upgrade phones are worth the extra cost

**Q: What's the sound quality when used with other brands of intercoms, like fodsports fx8? I'm looking for louder speakers for my fodsports. Tia**
A: Will work with any 3.5mm jack. They're an upgrade for the standard cardo speakers which I thought were great already, so I imagine they'll be better quality. Whether you'll get more volume is a different matter, not an expert but I think that'll depend more on your unit? Don't know anything about Fodsports. 
How the speakers are located in the helmet makes a big difference?

**Q: I need a thinnest possible set of speakers to fit into my helmet - what thickness are they? anyone have any photos of the side profile please?**
A: The thickness of 32mm, 40mm, and 45mm Cardo speakers is 10.1 (mm).

**Q: are these compatible with the scala rider smart pack?**

Really disappointed upgraded my 40mm jbls to these but id say the 40s are better! And i already had the upgraded software unlocked which is simply 3 audio profiles... Sound quality is very poor i have a constant fluttery vibration noise when playing music low-high! Will be returning asap...
