From the Manufacturer Tricky Town is a great game for family game night. Kids will learn planning and safety while they and their parents have fun making tricky decisions. Each player has a family made up of two kid pieces and two parent pieces. Go around the town collecting treats and avoiding tricks while keeping the kid pieces four spaces or less from at least one of your parent pieces. The game ends when one player gets his whole family safely home but that player isn't necessarily the winner Instead, you count up your treats, and the one with the most wins. Everyone stays interested and involved until the end. This game is easy to learn and fun for two to four players. Players use character playing cards to advance around the board and to determine who goes first each round. Players use the Trick or Treat cards to help themselves or to play tricks on their opponents. All even numbers are treated as doubles, you can either move one character the full value or move two characters half each. Every round gives players an opportunity to make decisions from a variety of choices to decide which piece to move and how to move it. Strategies and choices vary as the positions of the playing pieces change on the board. This is a skill-building, light strategy board game with a Halloween-theme. Players are encouraged to think outside the box and be creative while having lots of fun. Tricky Town was selected Best Family Game 2007 by Games Magazine 100.

We liked it
I have a 6 yr old. We had fun. It was a little difficult for her to understand the concept of moving multiple pieces at once but the more she plays the more she understands. It is a great learning tool as well as a fun trick or treating game.

One Star
Worst game ever. Rules make no sense and leave too many questions.

Family Fun
This is really a fun game. We pull this out every year around Halloween, but often times in-between too. Seems overly simplistic until you play it and 'dad' runs off and leaves the family and you're left scrambling trying to move your other pieces away from the Haunted House. Well-designed and very family-friendly.

Great family game!!
My kids love this game. They throw on their costumes and celebrate halloween all year. They have even played with real candy just after Halloween. It's also a great way to teach kids to stick together when trick or treating. It makes a great birthday gift!! So happy to see it on Amazon.
