I will never go liquid again
This did the job of three products. We have 5 people in our house. My laundry day usually means Iโm stuck by the washer and dryer all day doing about 5-7 loads. Clothes, blankets, bed sheets and towels. Usually I buy what ever is on sale at the two big clubhouses. I put the big awkward heavy plastic bottle in my cart, pay and bring it home just to spill it and measure and spill some more. I was reading about detergent sheets and the pros (less mess, easier to store and carry, cleaner softer clothes etc plus no more plastic waste) vs the cons (cost vs other liquid detergent). Iโm on my 3rd load of laundry so I canโt speak for quick loads yet or heavily soiled clothes but I will tell you what I know right now. I absolutely love this stuff. I didnโt think something like this existed or that it could better my life. But it does exist and it has made my laundry day easier. Itโs a sheet. Itโs just a simple sheet and it doesnโt feel sticky or weird, more like a sponge. If you have a smaller load you tear the sheet and use that by putting it where you usually put your liquid detergent. I really like the smell. Itโs not over powering to me. It smells and feels clean. I found my daughters jacket at the bottom of her closet with dirt on the front. Usually I use the liquid detergent, I pretreat the stains, let them sit, add in the clothes plus the scent boosters and then I can finally start my wash. This time I added everything like I usually do except I only used one of these sheets. No pretreat and no scent boosters. Warm water. No second rinse. I canโt tell you how bright and light my clothes feel. How soft everything is. How it just feels so much cleaner and smells fresh and guess what? Stains are gone! Heavily stuff Iโd probably pretreat but average stuff seems to be doing ok so far. It dissolved completely. This is a game changer. The cost might turn people off, and I get that. $8 for 30 average loads is a lot when you could get a container of liquid that does 120 loads for $15. But add pretreating, scent boosters and time of measuring and spilling plus no extra bulky plastic and you might consider this a better option. And did you know liquid detergent is usually 80% water? So $12 is water and $3 is actual detergent. Doesnโt sound like a better idea to me anymore. I donโt think Iโll ever have the liquid again. This stuff is amazing, not just for your clothes but the environment, too. Iโd rather pay $8 for 100% detergent vs $15 for only $3 worth of detergent Oh and see the top of my washer? All those scratches? My husband put that big bulky liquid container of detergent on my washer and the washer had a not so balanced load. It scratched it all up. I donโt see the sheets doing that.

[Almost] Zero Waste
This product is a good buy all the way around. - It saves space on the shelf. This is particularly helpful in my daughter's dorm room and my son's tiny apartment. - It is lightweight and easy to carry. (Our Amazon delivery person appreciates that too.) As a solid detergent, my daughter can just take what she needs down to her dorm laundry room. - The scent is refreshing. Clothes come out feeling good and smelling clean and airy. No weird chemical smell after perspiration starts. - Just as good at removing everyday dirt as the expensive, bulky detergents. (I have never trusted tough stains to detergent alone - I have always used a stain remover - so I can't attest to this product's ability to remove a really tough stain.) - Easy on the pocketbook. You get a lot of bang for your buck with these laundry sheets. They are easy to tear so you can use the right amount of detergent for any size load. That helps them to last a long time. As someone who is supporting three "households", I REALLY appreciate that. - The packaging is recyclable - or repurposable (Is that a word?). I use an empty package to keep my face mask in when I am away from home. My family has been using this product for over a year. There is no negative change in the quality of our clothing. There is a positive change in the amount of money in our pockets, space on our shelves and smiles in our hearts because we are creating less waste. I invite everyone to smile along with us.

Good laundry detergent
I love the smell and the convenience. It cleans as good as any detergent I've used, and it doesn't take up as much room in my laundry room

Space saver and they get the job done
I was hesitant at first to try these, but glad I did. It was hard for me to leave my old laundry detergent. I like to try new ideas, but laundry detergent is basically an item of necessity. So I wasnโt sure I was ready to make a change. After a few months of use I realized there was no loss in the effectiveness of cleaning my clothes or scents. So then I made the decision it was time to ditch the giant container. Itโs been so nice and easy using these sheets. And now the laundry area has more free space. Each packaged sheet is really two sheets. You can see the perforation line to easily split. For a normal load I use a full packaged uncut sheet (so two). A lot of times Iโll cut it in half and then just use half a sheet or cut the remaining half in half (so 1.5). And small loads I just use the single sheet (split at perforation). I havenโt had any issues and my clothes seem just as clean. Iโm not a mechanic or work around grease, so just normal sweat, dirt and such. I can say it works great on dry-fit gym clothes. I like that I donโt have to awkwardly pull down a big jug, which when new was heavy and had to be sure to not spill. Lastly, on a few trips Iโve taken a few sheets with me inside a ziploc bag. So great to know I can travel and easily transport these inside my bag.

CoVID-quarantine lifesaver
I've been stuck in the hospital for a little over 1.5 months now with no way to get my personal laundry done, due to quarantine procedures. I'm not able to get many items in to me, but a sealed envelope full of this awesome stuff wasn't a problem. These are little dryer sheet sized pages of a very clean smelling laundry detergent. Due to my conditions, my skin often feels like it is on fire, so I've been ordering lots of soft, lightweight clothing from Amazon, that, of course, benefits from a first wash before I wear it. I tear off a quarter of a page of these detergent sheets, toss it in my sink with a couple pieces of clothing, and hand wash in cool water. These sheets dissolve immediately, rinse clean, and leave my clothing looking good with a nice fresh scent that really helps with mood and morale while stuck here in the hospital. I cant speak for everyone, but so far these have not irritated my very sensitive skin. I keep wondering why the heck I didnt invent these years ago (but I ask myself that alot- so the answer must be that Im just not all that bright ;) )

Way better than I expected
I didn't know what to expect with these, and I had never used a product like this before. I was very interested in reducing my greenhouse foot print and this kind of soap felt like a good start . After reading reviews for many different brands this one seemed to be the best because the reviews indicated that it worked, generally people felt it dissolved, most people liked how it cleaned, it worked in a front loading washer, and it comes in scented AND un-scented. I ordered one package of the scented (because I like scent) and gave it a try. I will NEVER go back to my old bulky, heavy, large landfill clogging plastic container laundry detergent. This stuff cleans GREAT, it dissolves without any issues, and makes my clothing smell fresh, while leaving a smaller carbon foot print, and it takes up a lot less room. I can take this anywhere, no messy liquid or powder. I will never go back to my old laundry detergent. For the cost and the quality this is everything I would want in a laundry soap. Total score!

May not be the best for front load washers or scent-sensitive individuals.
My husband and I are trying to reduce our use of plastic packaging, so we were excited to learn about laundry detergent strips. I purchased this brand based on prior reviews, but I'm afraid my experience didn't match those of other individuals. While these strips are easy to use and seem to clean well, I found that the detergent didn't seem to dissolve completely in my front load washing machine. The package recommends using one strip for a medium load; I did this but was dismayed to find that the strip hadn't dissolved completely and remnants were stuck on multiple pieces of laundry. I had to run a rinse cycle, then another cycle with an extra rinse to get rid of the residue. Even then, there were still a few small clumps that I had to pull off and rinse by hand. In the future, I plan to use only half a strip in a regular load to see if this helps address the issue. In addition to the residue issue, potential buyers should be aware that these strips are very heavily scented. This scent is not unpleasant, but it is very strong and cloying, lingering on clothes long after the wash is done. Those who are sensitive to strong scents may want to choose another product. Overall I would say that these strips were a disappointment for me. I do love the idea behind them (and the biodegradable packaging is a plus), but I will probably seek out another brand like EC30, Tru Earth or Breezeo in the future. Hopefully I can find a way to use the Homevative so they don't go to waste.
