Picture does not match unit sold
I have purchased these in the past and all have BNC antenna connectors. The picture of this item shows a BNC antenna connection. This unit has a non-standard threaded antenna connector. This makes connecting an external scanner type antenna impossible.

Awesome Sounding Transmitters
I purchased the silver one over 2 1/2 years ago and wrote a nice review.It has been very dependable and I use it mostly to broadcast programs from my internet radio receiver. that is upstairs.I ordered another one (black) 2 1/2 weeks ago to use down stairs for my stereo set up which consists of a Sony 200 disc player,remote I POD player,cassette, and Comcast cable music.I can't believe how good this one sounds.Its sits right next to my vintage Vector Research receiver.The sound is as good or better then my previous expensive EDM audiophile FM transmitter .Just really love both units.Very,very dependable and trouble free.I always run both units at low power.Covers the whole house (2,600 sq. feet) and then some.
