These extra-large eyelets are a great way to reinforce fabric, fasten a hook or cord or to string lace, ribbons and other trim. You can also use them for various home decor and other creative projects: drapes, handbags, home decor, grill covers and boat covers. This package contains 10 size 7/16" brass eyelets and washers plus the anvil and setter tools for application. Review: Dritz Grommets - I was a bit trepidatious about using these on my hand-sewn and hand-painted canvas shower curtain! However, they were super easy to apply, even to a double layer of painted canvas! I recommend a practice application, of course. I used the prong insetpiece to mark a circle with pencil (on the wrong side of the shower curtain), then used manicure scissors to cut an "X" within the circle. This made positioning of the two grommet pieces easier. I pushed the pieces together per instructions, placed them on the anvil, and hammered, then removed the setting tool (had to wiggle it a bit as the canvas made it tight), and gently hammered a bit more on the back, keeping the anvil in place. The grommets look professional and neat. Of course, I had to buy TWO packages to make up the twelve needed for the shower curtain, so wish there were a few more per package.
