So far so good
I bought this paint because the promo stated that it is self priming. However, After calling In The Swim, I discovered it is only self priming when used with a certain thinner. Which Amazon does not carry. So I had to order that from In The Swim ($45). Also, the Amazon promo does not tell you that you must NOT paint this over Epoxy paint. But it does say this on the can. Also, the can does not say that it is self priming, so I am wondering if it will work at all?! I pre-prepped my surface (a galvanized horse traugh turned into an ornamental fountain), which had been previously painted with epoxy paint, by sanding and scraping all the old paint off down to the metal. As I am 70 I sure hope this paint works as I don't want to do it again!!! If it works Ill come back and upgrade my review to a 4 star. Still not happy with the misinformation in the Amazon bio on the product.P.S. If this product is not self priming please let me know ASAP. Thanks. So, now I've painted my galvanized horse trough (after sanding and scraping off all the old paint and galvinization) with this paint. I let it dry for a week in warm weather and have now filled the trough and added my fake fish, fake plants, rocks and driftwood. Its looking real good. The only peeling is in the top edge where I didn't get all the galvinization off. But everywhere else it looks great. I did not thin the paint at all.

Very good for pools.
My pool has a concrete border in the inside and outside of the walking area in a cream color that was mixed with a tiny white gravel. It was not a very nice even color, so I painted all that border with this product. It looks very nice and last long. The only thing that you have to pay attention to, is that on a very shiny or slippery surfaces it doesn't grab or hold very well. Of course that you will have to re-do once in a while because water, humidity and the sun will affect it sooner or later. I buy one can every year and all my pool border looks very nice and clean.

Started chipping and rubbing off immediately...
We used this for our small pool at home. We ended up buying 4 containers of it. We followed all the directions and started refilling our pool when it was time. Not 2 weeks later, the areas around our pool jets started to wear away and chip in some spots. It started to look just awful!! After that first summer, you could not even see the paint anymore. Some of the paint layer underneath even started to wear away. Such a huge disappointment. We ended up having to get our pool completely resurfaced...something we could have avoided if we didn’t buy this product in the first place.

A good economical topcoat for galvanized metal
I used it to topcoat galvanized floor pans in my Skoolie coversion, the rubber paint bonds well to zinc rich coatings, like galvanized, most normal paints don't, or take forever to cure. This recommends two coats, but one is thick and durable if you are using out of context, as I have. Also extremely high VOC, don't use it a confined space.

Great Paint! Great color
Great Paint! Great color! Great price! 100% satisfied! Make sure you order enough to finish the pool because if you are short and have to run out to the pool store and buy a can it costed me $106. Yikes!

If you have to, this is the product you want
If you don’t have a rubber painted pool, please reconsider. If you do, and it’s in need of repair, then this is the paint for you.Great adhesion, good durability, very very blue color. Sticks to your hands for days and ruins clothes, but that’s to be expected.I did have one area bubble up which needed a pressure wash and repaint, but that was my fault because I think I missed my TSP wash in that small section. Do your prep and this stuff is perfect.

Flakes on stocktank pool
Don’t buy this paint for your stock tank. I primed the tank and rolled the entire bucket in finishing it at two coats. It started to flake within 2 months

Great coverage
Paint was easy to put on. We’ve been painting our pool for 48 years and this was the best paint we have ever used
