Very Cool Bidet Seat
I installed this last month and has worked great. This was a birthday gift for my lovely bride, she had wanted one since seeing a TOTO version in Japan about 10 years ago. The unit looks well made and comes well packaged. There are a few things you should know. FIRST, this seat is designed for an elongated toilet bowl. The round bowl style would probably not work. Since we had the round style, I did replace the toilet with a modern low flow toilet. (needed to do that anyway, old toilet was a 5 gallon/flush unit from days of old). I also used this opportunity to replace the water shut off to the toilet, the old shut off started leaking as soon as I tried to turn it off. SECOND, you need a 115 volt, 15 amp electrical supply (very) near the toilet. This can be a big deal. I got lucky and was able to easily install a new outlet right behind the toilet. I gave it a new dedicated 15 amp circuit.(This step is way easier to do this once the old toilet was removed and out of the way)With the new water shut off, toilet and outlet installed, placing the new seat and hooking it up were almost trivial. Connect the water supply to existing lines, bolt the seat down, plug it in. That's it! My wife is very please with the function. In short, if you have a modern elongated bowl toilet, with a working shut off and a nearby outlet, you can install this thing in 15 minutes, easy. And you will be happy with the new seat, the features are great and the remote is easy to use. The biggest deal to contend with is the site prep PRIOR to installation, this may be beyond most homeowner's capabilities. In that case you will need both an electrician and a plumber and the bill can rack up pretty fast.

The pump is not as powerful as the last Intelliseat we bought circa 2012.
We loved our original Intelliseat we got from Costco and kept on using it even after the sprayer mechanism got stuck and couldn't navigate out into proper position. Of course, then a person had to carefully scoot way back or, watch out! Back wash!! We finally replaced it with the basic Toto model Costco is selling now. It is a fine seat for people who just want a nice seat wash. But, (TMI alert), what we liked about the Intelliseat was the powerful stream of water that, with careful positioning, could give a cleanout to the lower inch or 2 of the rectum. So we gave it to my mother and came to Amazon to buy a new Intelliseat, same model, for us. It works pretty good, but the jetstream has maybe 1/3 to 1/2 less force than the earlier Intelliseat that had broken. So I gave it 5 stars because it is pretty good and unless you had had the earlier model, you would never know what you are missing. Too bad there isn't a required psi metric so that shoppers could compare the water pressure of the sprayers from the write-ups and not have to buy it, install it, and try it out in order to learn if it is strong enough to do the job.

Great Product!!!
In my travels I'd encountered bidets and bidet seats and have found them most agreeable in regards to comfort and cleanliness. The lower-than-normal price allowed me to purchase one, then two, of these AMDM units and installed them without incident (or bandages!). And my lady and I both love them. Incidentally. living in the U.S. Pacific NorthWest, the warm seat is MOST welcome in wintertime nights. To our surprise, at our first dinner party, one of the ladies utilized the facility (how can I say it otherwise?) and RAVED about it! It was the topic of the remainder of the party, much to my wife's chagrin;-) (Yes, it squirts you in the butt - more Chicken Cordon Bleu?)WEEKS later, I was approached by a lady at our club who wanted to know more about this seat - apparently she'd heard from an acquaintance about our - um - facility. I told her about it, and later we were joined by her husband who wanted to know of the particulars (elongated bowl, AC line, plumbing connections, etc.). I explained that, beyond the installation of the GFCI electrical circuit(s), it was quite straightforward, and has been a fixture (?) in our household, again, without incident, for going on four years. They've purchased their own and have proudly thanked me for the recommendation. As have others that we know of. I didn't set out to be the go-to guy for electronic bidets, you know;-)It's not something that's likely to come up in a normal conversation being, shall we say, somewhat indelicate to discuss, but I will say this: It's a good product that meets a need you might not be aware you needed.
