Packed Full of Great Ways for Children to Learn
I got this for my daughter (aged 4) as she is in reception class and is starting to read and write. She was so pleased to receive it and even took it into her class for show and tell. So it made learning way more fun for her and she was keen to use the book at home, as well as when travelling. The content is varied and builds up from basic lines and shapes (to help pencil control), so then the latter and different games. My son (aged 7) was keen to have a go with it too, so it shows how fun it is and easy to use, and that you're learning but no in such a 'boring' school environment. It has definitely helped my daughter.

Perfect for reception level learning
Brilliant book and perfect for my daughter in reception. There's numbers, letters, colour matching, shape tracing and it's bang on for her age. My daughter broke her wrist at the end of last year and needs to strengthen her writing hand again so this is a great tool for helping with that and is a really fun way of learning. Highly recommended!

A great way of learning
Kevin Walker's Writing for 3-5 is a great and fun way of engaging with learning. The book layout is very easy to follow and teaches a wide range of learning topics, from getting to grips with writing to more basic learning like colours, shapes, numbers and letters. The colourful design has helped keep my child eager and engaged and just doing one activity a day makes it easier for her to break down and learn at her own speed. Highly recommend to any parent who wants to start teaching their children writing skills.

A great workbook for little people
My daughter has just started preschool and this is a great way for her to practice at home. Including sections on shapes, colour matching, puzzles, numbers and letters this is bright and easy to follow.

Helped improve handwriting
We bought this along with the numbers workbook for our 5 year old. This book has really helped our daughters handwriting become clearer. We recently attended parents evening where her teacher had noticed the difference, saying her control of the pencil had improved and I'm certain it's from the extra practice at home.Definitely recommend and both books have helped her improve in different areas

Easy to follow, recommended.
Brilliant book. My test for this was that my daughter was keen to start working through it herself without prompting. There are the usual writing exercises for individual letters working up to words. The progression from each exercise is natural and easy to follow for the little one.A very useful tool for us as we prepare for reception class this September. Recommended!

Great for little writers
Lovely, good quality workbook with a variety of activities to encourage writing skills. The book includes activities to work on fine motor skills whilst also teaching letter formation. Great for children who are starting to write. It also comes with a certificate at the back of the book which is a nice little touch.
