UPDATE****I do have a bad back. I need a mattress that is neither to hard nor to soft.So far I am doing well. Its doesnt make sounds. is rather comfortable,but it already now shows the first signs of wear. The spring under my side of the bed, specially where my backside uses to be, are already now sagging. Not a good sign. Turning it around made my wife unhappy but she copes, the sagging not mattering to her because its lowerthen her midsection, but I do have the feeling it starts to sag again on her side (now mine)I admit on being one huge son of my mother at 6'2" and 250 lbsbut there is no weight limit on that thing, is there?I use a full quality box spring that supports the mattress just fine, so the problems isnt coming from there.I admit to" its only 400 bucks, what you expect" but I also claim..its 400$ a lot of money for most people.If it gets worse I will definitively downgrade further and update here. For now, if you are short on cash and heavy in weight, maybe look for something else. I might have got a lemon, not sure.Will keep this updated and if it gets worse I will send it back.UPDATEOk its now several month into the short life of this Mattress, and it deteriorating to the point when its not making senseto keep it. There is a serious breakdown of stabilty in the spring. The middle part of the bed is really much higher now then the springs on the sides where we sleep.We turned the mattress clockwise several times, but it doesnt help, it only makes my dear wife falling into a hole I made in the mattress with my luxurious body.There is a long term warranty on the mattress, but we all know, getting a mattress replaced is most likely not going to happen. And even if, what do I do while it gets "checked" and transported forth and back? Sleep on the ground?I will contactthe seller and make them aware of the situation, and I will keep you guys posted.

I can't say enough about this mattress that was purchased for a rental property. I was amazed at the quality and comfort of this inner spring mattress with a pillow top that was packaged in a box! For those of you who have purchased gel toppers or memory foam mattresses, you are familiar with the packaging, and that is what you will get here. Except this mattress is truly an inner spring mattress with memory foam and pillow top, so you are getting a very nice high quality "hybrid" mattress an an incredibly low price -- and a King Size at that!The mattress comes packaged in dual vacuum lined plastic in a cardboard box container. I think around 100# or so. After removing the mattress from the box, you will need to position it on your box spring or platform (which we also purchased on Amazon), making sure that you have the pillow top on the top side. At that time, you carefully cut away the plastic liner, then position the mattress on your base just as you would any other mattress. The best part? No chemical smell! And, within hours, the mattress "expanded" and was ready to dress or sleep on.The mattress is covered in high quality, durable fabric, and the pillow top is roughly 1.5' high. It has medium firmness, yet is plush enough for people who prefer softer beds. Since this is a rental property mattress, I layered it with a water and bug proof mattress encasement that I topped with another mattress protector. On top of that I applied a five star luxury hotel mattress pad, which added another 2 inch layer of comfort and coolness. All products were purchased on Amazon.To say I am happy with this mattress is an understatement. It truly is a wonderful and comfortable mattress that is well made and will provide many comfortable sleeping nights. Also, because of the inner spring / memory foam design, it does not "shift" when your partner does, so no waking up when your bedmate does.If you're in the market for a new mattress, forget about club stores. This mattress will beat their prices and get delivered directly to your door by UPS.

So, I have to be honest with you. This was initially purchase of cost convenience. I was actually looking at name brand mattresses at the Sears Outlet for mattresses that had been refurbished. I came across this mattress and it was $150 cheaper than the cost of the cheapest mattress at Sears. So I ordered this and then had a 2nd thought about it and came quite close to cancelling the order. After thinking about it I figured the mattress was going to be cheap and thin and crappy. And the only thing that influenced me doing this was the positive reviews for this item. I kept thinking, how could it have so many good reviews if it was crappy. So against my better judgement, I kept the order. A lot of people's reviews mentioned the box was on wheels. Well, its not at all. In fact, the maintance man at my apartment complex had to help me get this box on a handjack. It weights over 100lbs. I got it upstairs and still didn't thing much of the item. I got all of the packing materials off and unrolled this bed. I poked a hole in the vaccum package and boy did it start sucking in air. So I started cutting it open and it basically instantaneously sucked in air and inflated. Surprisingly, it wasn't thin at all. It almost instantly became a full sized mattress. I let the mattress sit the recommended 6 hours. I got on it and OMG AMAZING! It wasn't quite plush but it wasn't quite firm. It was just the right amount of comfort. I have been on the mattress about a month and a half now. I'm in my late 20's and I was having back, neck, and shoulder problems on my old mattress. And to my surprised they are now all gone. I sleep rested. I love going to bed at night (which is something to say for someone in their 20's as we aren't known for getting tons of sleep.) And just in general it has been amazing. I had a $60.00 amazon gift card so this mattress all in all was like $340. It's a king size and I have so much room. I can't say enough good things about how comfortable this is. But, I think the highest compliment I have is when this mattress finally bites the dust, I would most assuredly buy this mattress again without hesitation.
