Simple, Sleek, Easy
This timer is perfect for use with my 2 year old. He can see the color "go bye bye" and knows that the beep means its time for our activity to end/begin. It also helps him understand what quantities of time feel like and how to recognize numbers. I really like this timer!

Perfect for Special needs kids
I bought this viusal timer to help my ADHD/ASD son, who has no concept of time but gets distressed over not knowing how long something will last, with virtual school. It's easy enough that he can set the timer himself for 45 minutes of schoolwork and then set it again for a 10 minute break. He has no concept of what 5 minutes feels like. In his mind, if I were to tell him that he has to read for 15 minutes, I could be asking him to read for the next 3 days straight. With this timer, he can watch the colored area get smaller as time moves on. It's really helped settle him. He also likes to set his visual timer for me when I'm cooking something. He feels like he's helping and he doesn't need my help to set the timer. That gives him some confidence and he feels like he has a little more control. I think I paid around $15 for this but after having it, I'd have paid $50. It's worth it. It came with a battery and we've been using it for about 30 hours or more per week for a month and haven't had to change the battery yet. I wish I'd found it sooner. So much stress has come out of situations where I tell my son we're leaving in 10 minutes and then while I'm trying to get us out the door, he's trying to get me to explain to him how long 10 minutes is. Then at the end of 10 minutes, everyone wants to just sit down and cry. That's done now. He can just set his timer for 10 minutes. Hopefully their next product will be in watch form for car rides and outings, etc.

Somewhat loud, but easy to use
I purchased this to help me with my time blindness, as well as to keep track of breaks and lunches at work.It is easy to use, easy to read, and it's extremely portable - I often take it out to the kitchen while I'm eating my lunch so that I can keep an eye on the time.Great for visualizing how much time you have left.It is however, quite loud - I muted it a bit by putting some painter's tape over the speakers on the back.

broke but not forgotten
HI, I ordered this product and received it in March. It worked fantastic, until it didn't. about 2 weeks ago the colored part stopped going around so you couldn't see to set the timer. I contacted the seller and they sent out a new one immediately. They were easy to work with and cared about the fact my timer didn't work any longer. I do like this timer. It helps my adhd'rs to see the time they have left when playing a game or something else that needs timed. So I was glad that the seller was so prompt.

Easy to use and works well!
This little timer is great! It is easy to use and works well! There is no volume control for the alarm (which rings when the time is up); that is not a problem for us, but I thought I'd mention it in case anyone wondered.

Perfect for teaching kids time management
I introduced the timer to my 4 year old student. He loved it especially because it was his favorite color. I explained how it worked. I was fascinated to see him keep checking the timer to make sure he had time left. We set it for 20-25 minutes for play then 5 min for clean up. Then he can choose another station to work in.

Holy Cow, Batman! Cooperative Toddler Alert!!
UPDATE: At 5 months of use, the timer stopped working completely- even with new batteries. >:/No more whining or protesting! I set the timer and tell/show my son (almost 3) how much more time he has to play before a transition [nap, getting in the car, bath, meal time]. When the green is gone and the timer beeps, he cooperates without fail. We've only had it a week and love this timer. He's the analytical type, so seeing how much green he has left and knowing I'm not changing it or making it up helps him stick to schedule. The timer is silent and the beep selector is a slider- we set it to 6 beeps on low volume. Such a great tool for kids to understand time better.

Great tool!
Perfect! Our son has adhd and we need to be consistent with time and help him mentally prepare for switching between homework, playtime, dinner, and nighttime routine. The visual aide is very helpful and I would highly recommend, it helps with his anxiety and to try and stay on schedule.
