Outstanding! I've used Leuchtturm 1917 notebooks for bullet journals for a while. Whilst looking to pick up another 1917 or a good alternative, I came across this notebook - thankfully! It has all the features of the 1917 and a few more. I prefer the dotted pages - which this has. I make use of the two bookmark ribbons in the 1917 and often though I could use one more, but used an adhesive page flag instead - this one has three ribbons, so I'm set! The index is just the same as the 1917, as is the pocket inside the back cover. Another bonus is that this notebook has 50% more pages, 180 vs the 120 of the 1917. Typically, I thought the 1917 was the perfect size (A5) and thickness to throw in my bag or hand carry, and I have a custom made leather cover that's tailored to a 1917, so I wondered if this notebook would fit my cover and/or possibly be a too heavy. It's a snug fit, getting the back cover slid into the leather cover (and I tore the inside cover of the notebook slightly while testing it) but it does fit, and I got used to the extra weight easily and quickly. Blue is my favorite color, with silver and black being very close second and third, so I love the deep, darker, rich blue color and elegant silver logo of this notebooks cover - very simple and tasteful. Another great bonus was the ruler that's included, and the pocket inside the front cover to keep it in - and, it's metal, not plastic! The sturdy, elegant black box it comes in was a nice surprise and a great way to store and preserve the notebook when I've filled it. Top to bottom, inside and out, the craftsmanship of this notebook is excellent; equal to or better than the 1917 in each detail. The icing on the cake was that I even picked it up for a few dollars less than a 1917! What a find! It's been a wonderful discovery and I plan to order an exact replacement when the time comes. Most definitely recommend it to anyone!

I have 2 notebooks from this seller, the hot pink and teal A5 ones with 160GSM paper. I have also tried notebooks in the same price range, cheaper and more expensive. This notebook made me want to BuJo more and get really creative. The paper holds up well to all pens and markers and even water color. And I’ve tried the notebooks with the off white paper and particularly for watercolors, the look is just not as satisfying. I’ve done exhaustive shopping and there is really no better notebook for this price in terms of paper quality, 3 bookmarks, included ruler, pocket, pen holder, and just looks and feel. It also comes in a nice box good for gifting. The only better notebook I’ve seen with similar value and even better features are her more expensive ones with higher GSM and fancier stencil ruler. I may splurge and get myself one of those because I’ve had my eye on that stencil ruler and the even thicker paper would give me even more to work with when layering watercolor with other mediums.The only reason I would buy from another seller for my BuJos is for softcover refills for my standard and A5 travel journals (her notebooks are too thick for them and the durable hard cover makes the travel journal cover superfluous) or for the black paper BuJo. If she made those that would be perfect. The refills I’ve gotten From other sellers were really disappointing in terms of paper quality and I would love the kind of paper she offers in softcover refill form.And if she’s reading this I would recommend she makes them and also a black paper BuJo because all the manufacturers making blackout or starry night or other black paper journals are way too expensive or sold out. And if she started making them they would sell like proverbial hot cakes.

Found this product, searching for a Notebook with more pages to use as a Bu Jo. I've used Bu Jo's for several years; have tried various Notebooks, and this product is by far heads above others. I speculate that product end users helped create this Notebook. The paper quality is better than many published novels. There is a nice owner's page up front where labeled lines for name, and contact information is written. 4 lined index pages follow the owner's page. If I were to improve the index, I would make a small column for page #s and remaining of index for page content titles (see pic). The dots on pages are just the right tint/brightness to use for alignment, but not too loud as to interfere with your content on the page. Dots are similar to a watermark on a page. Clear, unintrusive page numbers start on dotted pages and are located at the bottom corners. There are two elastic bands: one to hold the notebook closed and one to hold a pen. The pen band is very snug, but will probably relax with use. Comes with a 6" rule with both Metric and US standard measurements. Nice little paper pouch to hold rule inside front cover. Always have a straight edged with you! The binding is substantial; covers solid and have a leather feel. I can't say I've been this impressed with a notebook before. I love the quality of this product and would recommend to friends, also those who read this review. ;)

I’ve been looking for the perfect bullet journal and this is the one! It has a nice cover, thick dotted pages, 3 bookmarks, pen holder, back pocket and even a ruler! The little ruler comes in so handy (bc i’m ocd) and is so cute in its own pocket. The pages don’t bleed at all and I’ve used highlighters, muji pens, and micron pens. Other journals I have used before (rhodia, moleskin) don’t have as thick pages as this one; this has to be the thickest in the market. I love this journal; it has so many pages and it will definitely last me a long time.

I've tried many bullet journals and this is by far the best. It has every feature I was looking for - Very thick paper, pen holder, cream colored paper (not bright white) easy on the eyes, numbered pages, index pages, pockets in front and back, ruler included, beautiful cover, 3 page holders (ribbons). I searched high and low to find a journal with all of these features and this was the only one that had it all. It's superior quality and comes in a nice gift box! I will continue ordering these!

This journal/planner is gorgeous, well designed and extremely thoughtful. It contains little items/tweaks that assist and enforce bullet journal philosophy in a nice package. The physical/wrapping is soft to the touch and very comfortable to hold, the pages are solid and the small accessories were a nice addition.I’ve got quite a lot of these dot planners/journal books now, from more expensive brands to cheaper brands and this one has been my favourite!

This is a bullet journal of exceptional quality. Highly recommended.

I didn't think that this journal would of that quality for the price, but it is really good! It comes in a cute box, it's made from some nice smooth blue leather, the pages are thick enough so that markers won't get through, there are ribbons for page markers (which I love), the dots are well aligned, and I really like the integrated ruler. You even have a band on the journal's binding to slip it in so you won't lose it. Such a good purchase.

This book is amazing! There is a little pocket in the front of the book to hold the ruler. The pen holder is on the side of the book and is great to keep the pen together with the book. There are several pages for the index and there are lots of pages. It looks expensive with an attractive design on the front. It feels luxurious to use it. I am so impressed and I am very glad I purchased it.
