Great light - bright and illuminates areas well - fits snugly!
I'll admit it. I tried a triathlon and it just was not my cup of tea. I'm a runner - of course I got injured and thought Tri's would be a good idea. Sometimes you should listen to that little voice in your head. I'm just sayin'. So why do I say that? Because I tried very hard to be a bike expert when I was training for a tri. I'm sorry I'm just not mechanically inclined like this. I really do try and can do great with some time but frustration sets in. This light came with no instructions in the box (they were emailed and I sort of didn't remember I had them) and I figured it out. So anyone can. When I get things on my bike they stay. I'm not lazy. I'm scared I won't be able to figure it out again. This puts out a good amount of light that really shines on the path ahead and the charge lasts a long time. I use it on a hybrid bike (I got rid of the roadie because my Tri days are so over). It fits nicely and works well. I do put my bike on a rack on my car to go places fun to ride so I gave 4 stars because it's going to take a little while to see how sturdy this is and to make sure I cannot knock it around. I'm strictly recreational riding at this point - in it not to keep at 90RPM or such and such power outage but to enjoy life. Lights are required - especially in areas where the cars see you as targets and not friends. Great option and nice product. I will update on durability once it's been a while and then this might earn a 5th star. I also want to see if it will fit on my hydration vest - because I can always use another nice light while running! I run with a headlamp or with knuckle lights - and, just like bikes, want to respect the drivers and make sure they see me.I was provided a sample for an honest review.

The button is horrible and very difficult to press
The button is horrible and very difficult to press. This light is the cheapest, the build quality is poor and I doubt it's water resistant enough for a heavy rain. The light is bright enough as a "be seen" light but to use this light to see wouldn't be ideal, a light with a lens would provide much better visibility. I think I'll be switching to a light with a lens and spending more for better build quality.

This is bright. My only frustration is they should have a definite off switch. You press the button and when it starts to dim you let go. If you hold it too long, it switches modes. I will get use to this. Otherwise, this is a great produce. I like the way I can attach it to my front fork because I have a bag that makes an handle bar light a problem.

I bought the light for my bicycle and this led light is bright. It lights up quite a bit of area and can be seen from a good distance. It has multiple light settings which lets you pick if you want the light to flash or not and how bright the light should be.

BIKE RIGHT--- USE LIGHT AT NIGHT
I've wanted a rechargeable bike light for some time. Buying coin batteries gets expensive, so rechargeable is the only way to go. NIXGLO's red tail light, and front running light, look identical, and operate identically as well. You have a rubber strap, that wraps around your handlebars, and then clips in place. Altho is plenty bright, its not really bright enough for a headlight at night. I clip it on, so it shines off to the side a bit. This gives me two benefits. First, it makes me visible to drivers entering the flow of traffic from my right side. Second, when I'm on the bike path at night, I can see the edge of the path better. (My headlight shines forward so far, that I don't get to see path conditions right at my wheel and pedals.) The light unclicks from the clip easily, by pushing on a lock pin, and pulling the light out. (I take it with me, so it doesn't get ripped off.) Recharging is easy, just plug it into your USB charger, and wait a couple of hours. The light holds a charge well. Up to six hours, on the least bright settings, or flashing setting. Other settings, like strobe, or super bright, the charge will last 3 hours. It took me a few attempts, to figure out the way you toggle thru the modes of operation.FIRST CLICK - Continuous bright white lightSECOND CLICK - Continuous brighter white lightTHIRD CLICK - Continuous brightest white lightCLICK AND HOLD - Flashing lightCLICK AND HOLD, RECLICK -Flashing brighter lightCLICK AND HOLD, RECLICK, RECLICK, - Strobe settingCLICK AND HOLD (while ON) - fades away, turns offI have nothing to complain about with these two Nixglo lights. The straps keep the lights solidly in place on my bike frame, they hold a charge for a good long time, and the release mechanism is easy to use. Unless I forget to take them off the bike, when I have it locked outside, I'll have these for a long time. If you ride at night, even occasionally, you're risking a lot going without good lights. Poor visibility endangers your life, and why would you want to do that? (said the guy whose rear brakes don't work.)Nixglo kindly offered me a promotional item in exchange for a fair and honest review.
