**Q: does this work for a 1971 ford mustang ?**
A: Hi this switch will fit your car. Be sure to disconnect the battery, there is a small button on the back side which needs to be depressed then pull out the handle you will feel it unlock then you can unscrew the nut that holds the switch to the panel.

**Q: will this work on my 1965 ford thunderbird?**
A: Yes it will

**Q: will this work in my 1984 ford e350?  My switch now has 7 pins not 8 . there's an extra pin in the middle.**
A: Not sure. Worked great for my 1981 Ford motorhome (v8 6.6L)

**Q: Will it fit 1955 Chevy belair**
A: I highly doubt it. This is a Ford headlight switch for most 70's model pickup trucks and 78/79 Broncos.

Thkught mine was bad but found out it was the high beam switch on the ground. Still replaced my switch anyways worked great in my 1988 ford f150 i6 lariat. Took 5~10 mins to install quick and easy.
