2014 is the 20th anniversary of Tical, the debut solo album of Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man, released November 15, 1994, on Def Jam Records. It was the first Wu-Tang solo album released after the group's debut, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). Similar to all first generation solo Wu-Tang projects, Tical was mainly produced by group member RZA. The album features guest appearances from several Wu-Tang members including RZA, Raekwon, & Inspectah Deck. The album was a commercial success, reaching number four on the Billboard 200, and number one on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. On July 13, 1995, it was certified platinum. This success was driven by its two singles, "Bring the Pain" and "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By". Tical has since been hailed by several music critics as a hip hop classic and its success is matched by its influence as a major piece in the East coast hip hop renaissance.

Method Man - Tical
After the groundbreaking debut from the Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man was the 2nd of the 9 members to release a solo album.1. Tical - Great beat, Meth comes real nice, hook is good - 4.5/52. Biscuits - Nice beat, Meth spits some nice ish, no hook - 4/53. Bring the Pain - Nice beat, Meth tears it up, hook is good - 4/54. All I Need - Great beat, Meth murders it, hook is good - 4.5/55. Wonderful! Alice, pinch me, I think we're in Kansas!
The best method man album! He really shines on here with classics like meth vs chef, METHID man 2, stimulation, and tical. He really lets his talents shine on songs like all I need and bring the pain, and I can say that mr sandman is a wonderful introduction/allusion to horror core, as that is a vastly overlooked sub genre with a. Lot of creative potential, and I was glad to see that this album has a tinge of that to it.

Finally a good press from Wu!
Very nice, Wu-Tang finally pressed a vinyl Of quality. I have Wu essentials and 36 Chambers and those two are pressed like garbage especially the essentials. It is thin as paper. Im sure without the quality carts I have those probably would barely play. I’m satisfied with this vinyl.

Great album
Excellent debut album remastered with bonus remixes of Bring the Pain and Release Yo Delf. Unfortunately, the single version of All I Need with Mary J Blige was again overlooked.
