HeraShield Screen Protector Fits 2015 2016 2017 2018 Dodge Challenger with 8.4" Screens

Installed screen protector in a 2016 Ram Truck. The size is perfect, left about 1 mm of space around the edge of the screen. The installation is a bit tricky, since getting the protector installed without a few specs underneath is challenging, as it is on any product. Lesson learned: The screen was spotless, but the outer shield (there is a shield on either side of the protector that you peel off during installation) on the protector was covered with dust, even though I had just taken it out of the package, and unfortunately did not notice this until I was installing it. As I began peeling off the outer shield while I applied the protector to the screen, the dust quickly transferred itself from the outer shield to the protector and the screen. I peeled the protector back off before it was fully applied, since the amount of crud between the protector and shield was now terrible. Fortunately, there are 2 protectors in the package. I cleaned the screen again, and then I cleaned the outer shields on the protector with an alcohol pad and the screen cleaner included with the kit. The second protector went on virtually flawless afterwards. I'm a little disappointed that it took both shields to get a good installation, but at least it worked out good in the end. If the durability or other issues arise I will update this review.

Fast shipping which is always appreciated! There's two in the pack so you can toss one in the glove box in case I need to replace it at some point. The material is a little thicker then what you would find for cell phone screen protector. It's nice because you're going to be pounding away at it on your dash with your fingernails, keys, and whatever else. I don't know about this brand but I've used ones before that are the static cling material rather than adhesive, there are much thicker and spongier to press, which is what I prefer. But this is still OK. There's no glare and no funny texture when you touch it. The only two things I didn't like about the product is that installation is not very forgiving on a recessed screen. I have a 2016 Dodge Challenger and the navi is set into the dash quite a bit. The other complaint I guess you would say is that the instructions for the product say it should be removed and replaced by the additional screen protector within a year. Obviously I haven't had the product that long so we'll see what happens when we come up on it. I would suspect for the price point nearly $20 it should last for longer than that but then again we'll see hopefully there'll be no yellowing of the adhesives, of which is a common problem with some cheaper adhesives. I'm also a little concerned about what residue may be left behind once you peel the film off. Hopefully nothing that will damage the screen itself. The static cling film I had on my 2008 Mustang's navi lasted for about seven years before I sold the car, no discoloration no wearing and easy to remove and reapply if you made a mistake. If in the future I find this product doesn't work out, I'll probably find another static cling product and cut it to size.

Super easy to install, make sure to clean the screen well before installation. Not sure if the included wipes are sufficient as I use a different cleaning product. It does reduce the appearance of fingerprints and smudges, but they are still visible. Install is easy starting from the top and slowly applying downward. The fit is good for the 8.4 screen. Two protectors are included and the instruction say to change them in a set timeframe...12 months I believe. I have no idea why it would need to be changed unless it failed.

Arrived in a timely manner. The included cleaner wipes did a nice job and the protector went on easily, no bubbles to work out at all. It has a similar matte finish to the car so there is no glare; in fact you cannot see that it is there. Does not seem to affect the touch screen operation at all. Two sets of wipes and screen protectors come with it, and if they last as long as stated (approximately 1 year) they will be well worth the price.

Definitely a good buy. It's a descent fit for my 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, and has held up well since I installed it about a year ago. I haven't noticed any affect on touch-sensitivity, it doesn't affect the image clarity, and it has protected the screen well from dust scratches.

The HeraShield was simple to install, just be careful cleaning your screen. Once installed it looks great with no bubbles and the protector fits the entire screen area.

Fits my 2016 Dodge Challenger 8.4 screen perfectly. Easy install, almost a bubble free the few bubbles that were there worked out easy with the included cloth and my debit card. I will be purchasing this product again. Bonus: There are two screen protectors in the package with two cleaning cloths.

This screen protector is a must have for your 8.5 inch screen on your 2016 Challenger. Its a little difficult to install, but once you've got it alligned and installed you won't be disappointed. This screen protector does not leave absolutely any fingerprints on the screen. It's also touch sensitive as if the screen didn't have a protector at all. It's also crystal clear. Buy it and you get 2 protectors.
