A Rugged, Comfortable Shoe
I was looking for a shoe with a boot type sole. I'm an amputee who does a lot of work outside, so I needed something that's rugged with a good tread. These fit the bill perfectly. Finding boots that would fit over my prosthetic foot was darn near impossible, and not affordable. I've had a pair of these for about a year and they are still going strong, but I needed a new pair for an upcoming trip. They look and feel good as a walking/hiking shoe, and they stand up well to outside work abuse. I've included a photo so that you can get a look at the tread. At least for me, the sizing was accurate. If the way the first pair has held up is an accurate indication, I should get several good years of wear out of them.

Good quality for the price
I'll start with comment on size/fit as simple scale can't represent it: Over the years standard expectations/production for a shoe size have changed, despite formal specifications. These (13M) were spot on typical "old" (15-20yrs ago) average for 13, which is a fraction larger than what we get these years. My feet are just about this size so fit is excellent but if you are about 13.5 in typical "modern" fit, try 13 or if "modern" 13 fits you loosely-try 12.5. So, fraction-larger fit but very close to expected. As for initial quality and comfort, better than expected at the price point. Materials and workmanship are on par with 3-4x more expensive shoes, flexibility and support are excellent for trail walk/run, thread also perfectly suited for the purpose, very happy with the product (we'll see on long term).

So far, so good
So , this is the first time I have ever bought a pair of shoes without trying them on first and I must say , so far so good. The fit is good ( I'm a size 12 W ) and for the price I immediately put them through their paces. First day was my daily 5 mile walk in the woods . Day 2 was a 10 mile trek around NYC . Both days were very comfortable. If they make it through the winter with little to no issues they will be more than worth it .

Good Lower End Shoe
These are nice lower end hiking shoes. The quality of materials and attention to detail is very good for this price point. I have now worn these every day for about two weeks and find them quite comfortable. The only negative is that the insole is glued in making it harder to put in arch supports. Pleased with my purchase.

seems durable, good at $30, good traction, .5 size too long.
fits like a 12.5. if they had 11.5 (they dont), i would have gotten 11.5.aesthetically pleasing.seems durable - good traction on the sole for slips - and they always occur.durable toe - the sides of the toe are questionable - and for me - the edges of the toe always take extra durability loss.so will see - some of it is mesh - some of it is reinforced. unsure where my toe damage will land.

Good value.
This is my second pair. They look good and are a good value. Big improvement in the shoestring length. The first pair had strings that were way too long. These are much better. This pair doesn't fit quite as well as the first pair. Seems like they are bigger/looser. They are a little on the heavy side but perfectly acceptable. Good value.
