Great replacement for inhouse blower motor & control module.
I had lots of trouble narrowing down the actual problem with the in-house blower motor. It ran continuously and after eliminating everything else (with lots of help from YouTube) I concluded that the fault was in the control module attached to the motor. I did extensive searches for a direct replacement. This unit showed up on Amazon and the reviews were exactly what I needed to take the leap and order it.As with most things Amazon, it arrived in two days. This morning I spent just a bit over an hour doing the replacement and final checks to ensure it was running properly and reacting to thermostat signals. If you need an in-house blower motor and/or control module this fits both issues. This combo was actually cheaper than I was able to find the control module by itself. Just ensure that you get a compatible unit. I matched the motor HP and control module numbers.Good product with excellent instructions covering many install situations.

First Motor Lasted 7 Years. Bought Another One.
In 2017 the blower motor in my furnace (AC) stopped working. Knowing that I would pay a small fortune if I called an HVAC company, I figured I would look at it my self first. After removing the panel, a couple of screws holding the blower fan in place, and disconnecting the wiring to the motor (after taking pictures!) I had the fan assembly out. There were a few bolts to loosen and the motor was free of the blower fan. I looked up the specs on the motor and this was the compatible replacement. At the time I paid $270. The new motor went back in place and I have had 7 trouble free years of cold AC in Florida.A week ago I noticed that the fan was running all the time even when the thermostat was not calling for cold air. Something seemed to be stuck on. I first tried replacing some relays in the furnace and checked the wiring and all looked good. Since this motor has the control board inside it, someone in another review mentioned that it was possible for a relay on the board to fail while closed.I looked up this motor again and saw that it was $329. That is really not much of an increase in 7 years. So I figured I would order the same motor again. This weekend I swapped the motor out again and my HVAC system is working normally again. It took about 90 minutes to replace the motor and test everything and the only tools I needed were a set of socket wrenches. This motor is very good value and very reliable. I have probably saved myself thousands of dollars replacing it twice myself. Anyone with some basic DIY skills should be able to replace this motor. Just make sure to disconnect the breaker first! :)

Cold Again - Drop in replacement for Genteq X13 -- FM17 version from 12 years ago
Eassy to install - same wiring locations - worked right away - simply install back in AC ( not a test bench ) for first power up - after a few minutes of self adjustment - it's ready for prime time !

Very good replacement
If your HVAC unit uses this motor I recommend it. I have bought the same one twice. The last one lasted 6 years in a harsh environment blowing both heating and AC.... AND during some record setting periods of 100º+ heat. It's in a roof top unit in the sun. That's good enough for me. If you buy this at the HVAC supply expect to pay a couple hundred more. This is OEM as far as I know.Installation instructions are outstanding. The packing is excellent.

Fit my Rheem perfectly!!!
Our indoor air handler, Rheem, quit blowing air one night and the coils were frozen solid. My years working with my dad doing HVAC told me not to panic and assume the system is low of coolant but to look further. Went to the air handler and found the frozen coils and the fan motor making a strange humming sound. I knew what that was. We called a local company here in Albany, Georgia and was quoted $2100. Technician said cheapest motor online was $640. WRONG. But their quote still showed the motor costing $1650. We paid less than $350, Amazon shipped it to our house on a Saturday, and 2 hours later it was in and running quieter than the original. I attached pictures of my Rheem original and this replacement box. The instructions show examples having you use the #3 and #5 speed taps, but mine was set up for #1 and #5 and that's the way I left it. Low speed for heat and high speed for cool. Simple. It really did turn out to be just plug and play. Thanks to this company for an awesome product.

Careful buying here
Motor was needed ASAP as unit had a failed blower, upon arrival the box inside the Amazon box had been opened and was evident that it was not in it brand new packaging. Under the gun to get the system running, we reluctantly installed the motor and here less than 2 weeks the motor has failed and the hoops you need to jump through to return the item, get your money back, lost labor time all I can say is terrible just terrible and the client still has no conditioning in their place of business....

Saved so much not buying OEM
I was a little skeptical when I purchased this because I was afraid something about it would make it incompatible. To my amazement This was a drop in replacement to the x13 motor that failed on me. All I had to do was match the voltage and HP and I was good to go. The stock harness was plug and play as well with no adapting.

Works as expacted
This was a replacement blower motor for a 3.5 ton ground source heat pump. The motor being removed was also an X-13 (although made by a different company) so the electronic connections were a match. After 9 months, no problems.
