The blades that come with this bread lame are very sharp and provide enough of an edge to cut through the dough without getting stuck. The handle is short enough that I am able to slash the dough with precision. The grip is good and the product overall is very handy to have around the kitchen. There is a leather case that I am able to place the blades in for safe keeping. This is a very nice product.

This dough scorer is very well made. Comes with extra blades. This is not a toy and is very sharp. I like that if you play around with the curve on the blades you can adjust the size of your score. Wish it came with better instructions and tips.

This lame has a really nice wooden handle! It came with quite a few blades, so it should last a really long time before I have to purchase more blades. It was very easy to assemble and also comes with a nice little blade cover! Great purchase!

It is simple to use, comes with the protective pouch and works fine for scoring dough, so I'm happy. Razor blades make me nervous, so I am especially glad of the pouch. If I had been willing to spend more money I might have preferred one that came in its own case however. Kind of wish I had, but then again the price is already a bit high.
