TREEWETOPocket Watch Vest Chain 14.7 inch (37.5 cm) Silver

One of the few who still carry a pocket watch every day, my old chain had broken. I needed a chain so that my watch would not fall out of my pocket or be lost. This chain is well priced, is very sturdy, and attractive. I have attached a Catholic holy medal to it and am very pleased in that i can check the time and witness to my faith. It is just what we wanted.

I found a working Russian KGB award pocket watch in a thrift store, so I needed a vest chain for it. When I bought this chain, I was hoping it would double and be able to hook on to a belt loop. Turned out the lobster claps was to small for that. However, I can't fault it for that because it there was no claim for it to be able to do this. As a vest pocket chain, it works fine and is quite the bargain. It is plenty strong. Those reviewers who claim it is not strong enough are not thinking straight. You don't want it to be so strong that it doesn't break and the watch get damaged. I think it is just right and would rather replace it than the watch. Lobster clasps are much more secure than the standard. The length is sufficient for my use.
