We have had one of these for maybe 40 years, and it still works. It is very easy to use. I don't know where my husband put the old one, so I got another one.

No batteries needed! Simple to use. Do not need long or confusing instructions to use. Accurate. Well built.

These are great to have with your battery collection (we all have one). If I’ve got a battery, I just do a quick test and pitch any that don’t pass the “test” and I never have to question which is good and which isn’t. I’ve even given them to friends that were spending too much time and money trying to figure out “good” versus “bad”

I purchased two of these. No instructions, supplier help page on line is useless, could not accurately (+ or - 50 percent) test AAA, AA, C, D, button, or 6V lantern batteries. + and - terminal not marked. Meter fluctuates back and forth when testing. Pay a few $ more and get a better tester. It is small, that would be nice if it worked.

I like this style of tester, I had no problem using it. Of course I had to test every battery that I could find laying around to make sure it worked, and it did. My old tester needed a button battery to work, and it was cheaper to buy a new tester than to replace the button battery, and this time I chose a tester that didn't require a battery to work.

Bought to replace older look alike unit. Meter doesn’t discriminate well between new and used ( from beeping Smoke Alarm) 9V batteries. Both read in Good range though new battery reads higher. Same issue with the 2 units I bought. OK on AA and AAA but not as good as my previous one.

Would be nice if it had an option for disc batteries
