This is a New snap on front cap that will fit on any lens that uses 58mm filters. If you are not sure what size your lens ring is here is how you tell, look at your lens, on the front ring there is a number with a symbol next to it, the symbol looks like a circle with a line going through it diagonally, which is the symbol for diameter, this is the size of the front ring and what size filters and caps you need for the lens. The perfect thing to protect your investment and keep your lens clean when not in use.

Badly made junk
These have a hole in the them that lets dust in. The hole for the string is drilled so that is exposes the lens to dust. The cap does not protect the lens at all. In other lens caps, the hole for the string is drilled on the edge without opening the lens to dust and rain. These are very very badly designed.They are also very slippery. The center pinch is smooth as glass. If you try to use it the cap slips out of your fingers and rockets into the lens. It's like trying to pinch a watermelon seed. It's very hazardous.They are also incredibly ugly. In the picture they look like they might be simple and understated. The ones I received looked very different from the picture. They are very cheap looking and ugly.I'm just going to get a name brand (for my camera, Nikon caps). Canon would work well if that matches your camera. It's not worth saving a few dollars.These are pure junk and do little to protect the lens.
