Functional, easy to install.
Good idea to improve comfort on the room, product came as expected. installation was somewhat easy, I had to add an extra wood board to the stairs opening to staple the cover. Also the size was a bit bigger than my attic opening so I had to fold the cover on the back end of zipper (back of stairs opening) to make it fit without causing interruption on zipper movement. Something that can be improved on design. The zipper can be damaged quickly if you don't open the cover carefully and if it is not well stapled. I did put staples close or on to the zipper line which helped keep the zipper in place when opening or closing. It looks like it can last if installed properly and depending on how frequently it is opened and closed.

Working Very Well
The product was as good or better than expected. During the final hot months in August and September it provided a boost to the AC on the upper floor of our home. Now that it has turned cold, with nights in the low 20s, it is doing a remarkable job eliminating drafts. The corner of the home furthest from the forced air furnace and typically chilly is now cozy. This is a remarkable upgrade for a very small investment. From an energy conservation point of view, this and similar items should be mandatory in homes.

Good product and careful install helps improve efficiency
A perfect fit for a standard-size attic entry. Zipper functions well and I can feel where heat is being trapped below as I go to enter the attic.Anything not taped off around the insulation cover will allow airflow, reducing efficiency. This is not a product fault, rather it just requires some effort to get the maximum return on your investment. I used a staple gun to tack the cover to the wood around the opening and then copious amounts of foil tape to seal it (see pictures) so I could block airflow. This added to my install time and costs, but it's essential to maximize efficiency. I'd also recommend using some open-cell weatherstripping around the pull-down door for the stairs.

Very effective
We have two bedrooms off of a hallway w/ the attic ladder. After attic ladder installation, I noticed that those rooms were warmer during the summer. I didn't know if these covers were just snake oil, but I can tell you that they worked for us. It's two to four degrees cooler in each room w/ the same settings on the thermostat. A very noticeable difference.I put self-stick weather stripping along the opening before I stapled the cover in place. I don't know whether that made a difference, but it couldn't hurt.

Works as advertised.
The item was easy and quick to install. Item fit perfectly with no issues. My house is in the Hot Atlanta area where your attic reaches a good 145 or more in the summer days. I used an infrared thermometer to check the temps of the pull down stairs before and after. Compared to the ceiling next to the door the temps have come down a good 10 degrees. This should help due to the door being directly above my thermostat.

Very energy efficient.
I installed this when I put the new attic stairs in. It was easy to install, and is very efficient. When I open the attic door in the summer, it is cool inside the cover, but as soon as I unzip the top, I can feel the heat. I am sure I am saving a lot on heating and cooling bills.

Easy to install - does a great job of keeping the heat in the attic
Our AC was running more than normal, but as soon as we installed this at the top of the attic stairs, our electric bill went way down. The door to the attic is not sealed very well but this was so easy to install and definitely keeps the heat from leaking down into the house. The whole installation process took maybe 15 minutes.

Easy install. Would recommend.
I finally installed this now that the December temps are here. Took less than 25 minutes to install. Used silver duct tape as others had shown. My one recommendation is center the entrance and start stapling to the rear from there. Happy about the purchase. Expect it to help a lot in the keeping the it cool come summer.
