I probably didn't do it correctly. I purchased a no wipe top coat, applied a black gel coat, the aforementioned top coat, curing between the steps as required. Then I begin to rub in a gold-colored Holo powder which stuck beautifully from the base to half way up to nail but never quite covered the tip of the nail. It is possible that I needed to apply another coat of top coat but what would I have done with the rubbed in powder that was already on the nail? So I dipped my nail in and pressed in the powder the best that I could. the result is more of a glitter nail which required two top coats to smooth out. I give this four stars because it will give you a nice glitter nail or even a nice Holo nail if you can get the powder to rub in properly. I took away or star, not because of my probably faulty application, but because there are no instructions included with the powder. I am pleased with the casing the powder came in because each is in a little pot with a screw lid and they all sit neatly in a rigid plastic rectangular case.

I'm very pleased.There are very easy to read instructions on how to use the laser vs mirror powder.Be sure to get you some no wipe top coat for using the powder.This was my first time using powder coating and I found it easy so long as I followed the instructions.On my first outing after applying them (yes, I used each color on a different nail) I got compliments 😁Update:2 days after application, the gold and the green laser powders starting chipping at the tips. The silver and the purple are lasting.All of the mirror ones are doing great but the laser did this (see pic) after being in the sun

I was surprised at the quality of these little powders. There isn’t much difference between the look of the mirror and the other powder. I was able to use the applicators but it’s just as easy to use a warm finger and pack the powder on the nail and then buff it around repeatedly until there is a nice metallic coating. For best results I placed it on top of a ya my base coat and then finished with a top coat to seal.

Bottles are very small. Very very small. Several kids were not closed tightly, there was loose powder in the package. The colors are nice, it does glow faintly when it is dark dark. So, I wanted to like this set I really did. It is just so so. I was disappointed overall. At least the price wasn't bad since it didn't really live up to my expectations.

I have had so much fun experimenting with these powders. The price is great and the quality is professional. I couldn't get it to stick to the top coat so I've been applying it into the base coat. I'm not sure what I did wrong but this is working wonderfully. My top coat has gotten some glitter in it but I may just get another top coat for solid colors in the future. Once my acetone finally gets delivered I'll make everything uniform design but in the meantime it's been much cheaper and much more fun than going to the salon. Thank you 😊

Ignore my cuticles- still have some clean up to do. I t looked more chromeish before I applied the top coat. But great product. Works as it says- if you follow the directions. I used them on a dip base- and the first top coat I used was not a no cleanse. Needless to say- it also the reason for state of my cuticles. This was the 4th time in2 days I'd redone this full set trying to get it right. But great powders. Eager to try more.

Beautiful color shifting glitter! I love how if you smooth it over it becomes a metallic color, but if you tap it on it stays like a holographic glitter look. Pics in the listing don't do it justice.
