Well trust me I haven't had a person walk in on me yet because of this bad boy saying no to the sheer force, power and will of my family to come in and disturb my peace. All in all good product for bedroom locking, if you have animals that walk in your room and like leaving you gifts in form of pure stench this thing stops them from doing that( if people are asking why is my door so easily opened its not, my animals are like embodiments of Einstein). In conclusion if I'll need one again I'll buy it and would definitely recommend easy to set up and very trust worthy.

Good and solid, but flawed because the hook end is bent at a diagonal angle. Put simply, put this on a shed door, wait for the wind and the hook will simply slide up and out of the eye fitting. Impossible to bend it as it is very strong, so I fiddled around for ages to get the eye at an angle which reduces the chance of it coming out. On the pus side, it comes with stainless steel fitting screws which is a bonus.

The angle on the hook, alongside the length of the hook, means that if you use this for something like a door or window that might catch the wind, then it will pop out of the eyelet. I tried multiple positions but it just never worked.

Torch looks good quality. My son wanted this for Christmas and predicted arrival was January but arrived lot sooner, very impressed.

Giving this one star as it was broken on arrival and not fit for purpose. Maybe a manufacturer fault but I wasn’t able to contact the seller and can’t be bothered to organise return of a 7£ item so frustrated and out of pocket and will have to buy another better quality item elsewhere

I bought this to add to a garden Busy Board I was creating to entertain my toddler son. As such I can’t comment on its effectiveness as anything other than an object to be twiddled. It is sturdy, shiny & provides hours of fun for little curious minds & busy hands!

The hook doesn't stay in very well, I've had to pay extra elsewhere to get some rubber ends to stop them coming out with the slightest breeze. Order arrived with both packets open and one of the eye loops missing. I've been told that they'll give a partial refund to find a new eye hole or send a new one which is fine. I wouldn't purchase again and there are better products elsewhere which I've since purchased to replace these which do the job far better and look nicer.

Absolutely unfit for purpose in the bigger sizes. Bent the first time I used them with a mild wind blowing my gate. Returned!
