Good handle
My husband had an old, favorite shovel that needed a band end handle. He coukd not find one in any of our 5 local hardware type stores. This handle worked perfectly and comes with a rivet.

Well made tool handle
This handle installed easily and seems very nice.I looked all over the city and could not find a handle like this with the bent end.My shovel is over 30 years old and had some sentimental value to me, as well as being a well made tool.It cost about double of what was available locally, but I did not have to go through the work of trying to steam or soak or beat the handle into the shape needed for an excellent fit.

It’s curved. Make sure you need the curved handle. Some shovels are straight legged.
Good replace by hard wood handle. Fits perfectly and came with the rivet. I would buy it again without any hesitation.

Fits Shovel Blade Perfectly
I thought it would be duck soup to replace the broken handle on a treasured 35-year old shove: just grind off the head of the rivet, drive it out, then drive out the handle stub; drive the new handle in, drill for a new rivet, and peen it over. Well, getting the old stub out took several hours of grinding, drilling, torching and pounding. BUT, the new handle fit perfectly, and the supplied rivet is prepared for relatively easy peening. Can't address durability or sturdiness yet, but the handle seems well made.

These are actually long bent neck shovel handles
If you have a hard time finding these at your hardware store these are actually bent neck shovel handles they are as described and worked well

Broke almost immediately.
The handle broke the first day I used it. It is not made of a very sturdy/dense wood.

cracked
In addition to the slot, there is another crack in that same area. It must be due to however they created the bend. I installed the handle anyways, so we'll have to see how it holds up. I imagine it will have a slightly shorter lifespan due to the crack. Otherwise the handle seems like a normal handle, though I haven't yet used it for actual digging.
