Better than stock
I have had this watch band for about a year now. I bought it when the stock strap on my Luminox EVO broke. I am in the U.S. Army and while I haven't specifically tortured this watch, it does go everywhere with me. After a year of crawling through buildings, being exposed to hot and cold weather, drug through the dirt, and being submerged in water this thing still works like a champ. It doesn't look chewed up and it still clasps tight. While it was a tight fit to get it connected to the watch, it hasn't come loose or popped off once (something that the stock band did twice that I can remember. One time I thought I lost it but found it later under the seat of my car). This watch band is great and if I got a new Luminox watch I would change out the stock strap this one as soon as possible. Also wanted to add that adjusting this watch is super easy. I saw some review of people going through craziness trying to adjust it, but if you look at the pins in the band they look like flat head screws. That's because they are. Just put a flat tipped driver on each side and unscrew. I think it's only the links with the little arrows on the inside, but I haven't had a reason to try it to verify. Hope that helps some of you.

procedure to resize
I wanted to rate as one for two weeks because of frustration in not able to re size. i bought it for Luminox 8822.MI. After going to a jeweler and professional watch repair shop without any success, I went back to the jeweler and told him he is not liable even if it is broken. So we took a chance with flat head screw driver.**Make sure the screw driver is not too sharp, you don't want to cut it**.Bottom line is - the hooks holding pins bed with a little extra effort. The secret is the the hooks holding pins can be pried so that the pin itself comes off the socket. Jam the screw driver between the links and against the hook and pry it up and when you feel the pin head is out, just twist to side so that it comes off the socket. Once one side comes off, you can actually pull the pin from other hook. No damage done. Remove the links this way and just push the pin back in with little force to your size. I have done this myself without damaging any links. once it is adjusted to your size, it feels lot better than original straps and looks nice too. Cheers.. Key is the links are made up of soft Polyurethane/hard rubber.

I've been looking for this watch band my whole life! Haha
I wish I could have found this style watch band years ago!!! I love it! Especially since I have an allergy to most watch band metals :/. But with this band it looks just like a metal band, but is actually a high grade plastic. The band was extremely easy to attach to my Sony Smartwatch2, as well as taking out the links for the perfect fit! You need to use two screw drivers at once to take out the pin in each link. So I advise a clamp of some sort, or a steady hand/patience. I did slip a few times, but the band didn't scratch at all! I would also recommend checking each link making sure all pins are screwed tightly, but after that wouldn't worry about them coming loose again.

READ THIS BEFORE BUYING THE BAND
The sizing information for Luminox models for these bands is not correct. I purchased the band which supposedly fits a Luminox Colormark 3059 and it was two mm too wide. Fortunately, my local watch store was able to modify it to fit. MEASURE your watch band width first, then order the appropriately sized band and save yourself the hassle of a return or modification. Having gotten that out of the way - I really do like the band. It is way superior to the cheap Luminox stock bands that have the very annoying "flapping end" which other reviewers mention. It is lightweight, good looking and sturdy - a perfect paring with the Luminox watch. For almost $300, Luminox should sell their watches with a well made band like this. This would have easily been a 5-star review if the sizing had been correct.

Best watchband I've ever had, period.
Bought one (22mm version) for my Pebble smartwatch number of years ago, it was featherlight, strong and attractive. Pebble sold out to a huge fitness band company, alas my Pebble was dead. I hoped this band would fit on my new Apple Watch 4, but 22mm (the most common width for watchbands) is too narrow. Apple watch takes a 24mm band. I was elated to find this 24mm version on Amazon. In fits PERFECTLY, and it's just as fabulous as my first one. You do need an adaptor kit, connecting a standard pin watchband to the slide-on version used by Apple. You'll find the adaptors on Amazon, they work great too.
