Intel Xeon OEM E5-2690 v3 Twelve-Core Haswell Processor 2.6GHz 9.6GT/s 30MB LGA 2011-v3 CPU - CM8064401439416 OEM (Renewed)

I initially had my concerns about ordering a used CPU (sellers like to refer to them as 'Renewed' or 'Refreshed') and decided to avoid the auction site this time. I could have saved about $20, but was lured by the 90 day return policy. Turns out my concern over returns and problems was for naught.My order had some delays in updating the tracking number in the beginning and appeared it was going to arrive later than original agreed upon, I sent the seller a message, but turns out I jumped the gun and my 'renewed' CPU arrived on time. CPU was clean, no scratches, dents, dings, or really any sign that my eyes could detect of being used at all. I have been running the CPU in my rig for a little over week and done a few stress tests, benchmarks, memory/CPU tests and so far so good.Make sure you understand how the Turbo on these Xeon CPU's works, not all cores can turbo to 3.5GHz, I get consistent speeds up to 3.1GHz across all cores. The 3.5GHz turbo is hard to reach, as it only allows a few cores to run that fast.Otherwise I quite enjoy encoding video at new speeds with 12 cores!
