Straight out the box and plugged in and working in seconds. Dug our old Wii out after years so we could introduce our daughter to the games we used to play when we were younger 🤣🤣. This product is great. Less wires behind the TV,neater, simple to install and made the picture clearer. The only issue which is one I can't fix is that it has slightly reduced the picture size in the width for some reason. But that's not an issue really
