My daughter loves this series! She cannot put them down.

My daughter has "graduated" from Pony Pals and Pony Days, Magic Ponies and Magic Pony, etc, but not yet ready for some of the older series. She is in 4th grade and around an RL 5.6, so we wanted more challenging but not grown up. The manager at Barnes and Noble recommended Book 1 to her and she read it and was hooked, so we got the rest of the series for her for Christmas. She is on book 5 and I imagine, since it a new series, that the books will retain resell value, although she plans to keep this series to re-read again whenever she wants to. The nice and not-so-nice thing about this series is that it does deal with real life bullying, mean girl and social issues, which is a big step from the fluffier children's pony books of 1st-3rd grade that she was reading, but since she has had to deal with some issues at riding school, she likes to bury herself in these books as a way to unwind. I like that she talks to me about what is happening in the books.

Super good book everything about it seems so real and this series is my favorite I read 3 books one day and 4 the next all I want to do when I get home is read which can be a bad thing after all I am a normal 6th grader and have homework of my own but nowi am onto the last book and want to have them keep going also I think Sasha needs to finish her life in the books because it just stops and then goes onto somebody else's but I would recommend these books to anybody even if you don't like horses read them

I rated it a 5 because she is an excellent writer for tweens. She contracted to do 8 books and they were so good that they asked her to do several more. I am also just a wee bit biased as I know her Grandmother and her mom and aunts. But, I have purchased every book in the series for my granddaughters. The oldest loved them and the younger one is just beginning to start reading the series. I do not think you would go wrong grandmothers in buying all the series - they are not expensive.

This book has been super cool I love books filled with drama, that is way Canterwood Crest are my favorite books!!!!!!! I just wish that it was still about Sasha her books were fantastic!!!

I'm always looking forward to the next book in the series but I'm so addicted I read them soo fast and then after I read it in like 2-3 days I have to wait 4 MONTHS for the next one to come out! Is there as anyway to speed up the time the books come out? I know there is a long process for making the books but I love them so much I hate waiting fir the next book for so long because I always forget what happened :(

It's so awesome because they have horses drama and romance it's never a dull moment at canterwood I love the horse side of it but it also relates to teen girls today I recommend this book to 12 and older because it does have kissing and boyfriend and girlfriend relationships in it but nothing inappropriate ....... this is one of the best series I've ever read :)

...the reason being, I haven't read it. It was bought for my 9 year old daughter - who will gladly read anything that contains a sniff of something horsey.Now, she says it was "a good book and she enjoyed it". When I tried to draw her on the characters, the plot and description...she said it was "a good book and she enjoyed it - and what did I mean by those other things".So...i'm going to give this an I-like-it four stars on the basis that a) she read it from cover to cover and b) it kept her quiet for approximately 4 hours. I'm of the opinion that any reading at her age is good and she's going through all of these with gusto.On the face of it - me telling you it's a good book based on her feedback is just as subjective as me telling you it's a good book based on my feedback....so you're always going to be taking a bit of a risk!

I love this book and the whole canterwood crest series but this one was slightly predictable but it's still a great read
